Our family of 3 adults were weekending in the Manzanita area and were encouraged to eat at Terra Cotta. It's cute and a bit quirky with a mix of a casual & more elegant features, but the service was good and the food was excellent. Two of our party enjoyed the fresh halibut en papillote served in two different versions - one a creamier, cheesier version and one a more herbal version. The salad rolls were terrific, the bread twists freshly baked and the dessert tray creative and inviting. We recommend you give it a try. We will certainly be back.

Very nicely decorated little place, run by a husband (waiter) and wife (chef). Halibut cooked in parchment was excellent, NY strip steak was good but not outstanding. Excellent fresh baked bread sticks. Nice atmosphere, Oregon coast upscale style. Owner will talk your ear off. Would return.

A warm summer evening, not many customers, nouveau French - Portuguese. Small family run restaurant, everything fresh and handmade. Everything was so delicious. Also a nice little comkunity. Clearly one of the most undiscovered places in Oregon. We had a gourmet dinner in a French style country house. Try to eat everything!

January at the Oregon coast may not be to everyone's taste but the Terra Cotta Cafe should be. The Terra Cotta Cafe is a lovely experience. To begin, the atmosphere is our idea of perfect, softly lit with a rosy glow, quiet but not uncomfortable, flowers on a table by a window--simply lovely, but not stuffy. You can dress casually and have an excellent dinner.
We began our meal with baked, stuffed mushrooms which were perfect, and a very inexpensive bottle of Cote du Rhone which was good. The New York steak was better, in fact, it was better by far than several recent steak dinners in Florence, Italy,--a great piece of meat perfectly prepared. This is an excellent and very reasonably priced meal served by kind and appropriately attentive staff. We finished with a Saltimbocca. It was a pleasure to meet Sandi and Harvey and have a meal at the Terra Cotta Cafe.

Four of us ate breakfast on Saturday morning after Thanksgiving and a relaxing stay at Manzanita over the holiday. Pleasant young gentleman served us and kept the tasty coffee coming. The French toast is awesome and the bacon just right. Warm atmosphere with a heating stove to keep the cold away.
