My husband had a round of golf while I lazed on the beach one day. Staff very accommodating - right down to finding a partner for him to play with. Greens well maintained. Friendly place

The staff was nice. The golf course was okay. Prefer the course at Gearhart for beach golf courses. At one point we were not sure where to go for the next hole, might have been #9 and no directional arrows to point you in the right direction.

No carts. 9-hole layout has change of elevation and great views, but is also challenging if you don't hit the fairway as Heyerdahl guarded by trees. Course is short (par 33-66), but the tee shot on #5 is worth the experience.

This family-run nine-hole course threads its way through the neighborhoods of Manzanita. Short, easy Par 4s alternate with longer, tough Par 3s. The grain of the greens is a special challenge. Be very careful to check whether you are putting with it or against it, as the speed varies tremendous. Signature hole is a 290 yard Par 4 from a hugely elevated tee that looks directly at Neahkanie Mountain. The ninth hole belongs on another course. 230 yard Par 3 with water to the right and in the afternoon the wind is blowing off the ocean in your face.

The owner/starter is a wonderful guy. The price is right. There are mosquitoes, so be prepared.

Love this place!

This is a gem of a course! Very well maintained with large, very fast greens. Executive length, and the par 4s are mostly short but challenging with a lot of trees and many sand traps. The par 3s are long (average length 195 yards), and the 9th hole, 225 yards into the afternoon wind with water on both sides, is the hardest par 3 I have played in the Pacific Northwest. Even a low handicap golfer who prefers full length courses can have a lot of fun in a round here.
