This is an old service station turned into a small wine bar that serves small plate food and the best BBQ oysters I have ever had. You browse inside and then pick your bottle of wine from the small store. (If you order a glass off the menu you pay restaurant price vs. retail price.) You then go and pick you firepit table and the rest is relaxation and warmth. The owner treats you just like family and the food is delicious. Large pours of wine and nice servings of small plate food. The BBQ oysters are nicely grilled, served steaming warm with a dollop of BBQ sauce and a dollop of garlic aioli - DELICIOUS!

My husband and I were intrigued by this unusual market/wine bar/restaurant. The open fire pits that warm you while you eat add a great deal of atmosphere. The proprietress and her assistant were charming and informative. We enjoyed 2 huge dungeness crabs, the artichoke flatbread and a capresse salad - everything fresh and delicious. Plus a very reasonably priced (market, not restaurant priced) bottle of Oregon's best Pinot Noir. The most pleasurable dining experience of our entire Oregon trip.

They have patio seating only, protected with a roof & plexiglas walls. Each of the half dozen tables has its own tiny fire pit in the center. We weren't cold, but they have blankets to use if you are. We had the Purple Haze cheese platter, cheese fondue, and oysters grilled in the shell. Everything was excellent! The oysters were very fresh, the wine selection was large, and the owner & her server were both fun. Other patrons had crab which they raved about, so we'll have that next time. Only complaint: the non-alcohol drink selection was extremely small.

We went for lunch and ended up returning for dinner on the same day - it was that good. Guests get to pick out their own beer / wine from the vast selections available. The menu featured a dozen different appetizers and provided a page with suggested wine / beer pairings to go with each. For dinner we feasted on fresh local crab at an outdoor table complete with small fire pit. Service was friendly, laid back (our bill came hand-written on a post-it note) and the food was very good.

My wife and I ate here last night and really enjoyed the setup of deli / wine shop and dining.
We split the humus platter and I had some BBQ'd oysters, bottle of wine and a beer. Wonderful service by the owner and her friend.
