The earlier reviews are right -- a diamond in the desert. Seating was open and casual. The service was very good -- prompt and attentive without fawning. The wine list is basic, so if wines are your thing you might want to bring your own. But the food! Wonderful! We started with an unusual fondue that was simply outstanding, and then moved to a tortilla soup with shredded chicken that was very good, perhaps paling only when compared to the fondue. The entree was one of the house favorites, deservedly so -- a trio of chicken, prawns and steak in a mole' sauce. The mole' was complex, and yet nicely balanced. It went with all three -- prawns, chicken, and beef.
Strongly recommended restaurant, and we will definitely return -- hopefully soon!
