The hubs and I recently traveled to the Oregon Coast to enjoy a few days away on the beautiful Oregon Coast. The coastline here at Lincoln City was spectacular. There were some extremely low tides while we were here that made walking on the beach really great, and the beaches here are so clean and pristine. I took some of the most beautiful pictures of sunsets while I was here! We stayed in Lincoln City for 4 nights and our stay at the Coho was really lovely and in a perfect location right on the beach. The actual beach is a short walk away (less than 2 blocks-you have to walk down to it) I booked a room on the ground floor with a patio which overlooked the ocean. The ocean views and the sound of the surf were awesome. The room was small but nice. Our downside to this room was its bathroom which was a room designed for someone with a disability. We did not enjoy the shower and the toilet was about 4 inches from the wall which made using it challenging (my hubs is 6'2" and not overweight) We did try to change rooms because this is not what I had thought I had reserved and the staff found another room for us but since it didn't have the nice walk out patio we decided to stay with this room. Secondly, this room was on the family side of the hotel, there is also an adult only side. We found this side very noisy come the weekend where as parents were not respectful of others staying in the hotel and allowed their children to play outside on the grass until well after dark. This was not relaxing as it was right outside our sliding glass doors which we had open to let in the breeze and the sound of the ocean. The hotel offers many types of rooms. The next time we come we will reserve a room on the adults only side. Lastly loved the outdoor fireplace, but it was unfortunately situated right in front of the parking garage which was not really nice because of cars coming in and out with their lights on etc. Perhaps a wall could be built to block the garage? The hotel included breakfast and was nice and varied. I did use their pool to swim some laps while I was there and it was perfect temp and not a long pool but long enough to get some exercise. I might recommend that there be some times when it is adult only swim time. I want to lastly mention that the staff here were top notch. The service was above par and the staff were helpful, friendly and eager to answer questions and really made our stay there memorable and very pleasant.
