We spend a wonderful weekend here celebrating our 45th Anniversary. The Lee family and their staff made us feel welcome on our previous visit and this time was no exception. Not only are the Sunset Suite rooms warmly and nicely appointed with sweeping views of the beach and ocean, the Coho offers a short drive to Newport and all the other wonderful places along the Oregon coast.

Room Tip: Ocean view is a must! The Sunset Suites are the best in our view with the Fireplace Suites coming in a close 2nd.

So wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us again! We have to agree that the Sunset Suites are absolutely stunning; a great escape for couples! I'm thrilled you were able to treat yourselves to the romance package! We look forward to your next stay.

This place is an OK hotel, just not for $180/night for a small fireplace suite. We stayed there one night and we were both disappointed with the size and appearance of the room. It looks nothing like the pictures they show on their web page. The carpets looked old and the room just looked like nothing had changed since the 80's. The bathroom was particularly disappointing. It was no bigger than the bathroom in a low cost cruise ship cabin. The shower was about the same size as a phone booth and the toilet was crammed into a very small space. Also, there is no air conditioning only heat. We went down to select a DVD from the front office only to find a sign that said, "Be back in a minute. Delivering amenities to guests. ONE HOUR later the clerk finally returned! I don't know what he was delivering but it must have been quite a load. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The best thing about this place was a very friendly helpful staff (other than the male clerk we had.) We will look for a better deal someplace else next time we come to the coast.

Room Tip: Get an ocean view if you can afford it.

It breaks my heart to hear that you had such a unsatisfactory experience at our hotel. Many times the rooms that we help pair a guest with makes the biggest difference in how our property is perceived. It is quite apparent to me that we could have done a much better job helping you select a room that you would enjoy and I would like to personally apologize that we fell short. I hope that you will give us the opportunity to make up to you, in the areas where our facilities and staff fell short.

Wonderful hotel/motel. If you can spare the extra 20 dollars makes sure to go for a room with an ocean view. The view from our 3rd floor room was amazing! Everything was top-notch – bed, bathroom, general interior, … really nice!
The woman at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and made several calls to find out about eateries in town! We went for Kyllo’s at the Beach which was a great choice. We could walk from the hotel along the beach to the restaurant and back! Wonderful!
To be fair, I have to say that breakfast was average but it’s more than what most other motels/hotels offer.
So, thumbs up – I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Lincoln City…

A lot of our staff are very familiar with the restaurants here in town and have wonderful suggestions. Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay! We do hope to see you again soon!

My husband and I went for a get-away down the Oregon coastline. I reviewed many places on line and found the Coho Lodge to be the most inviting, warm and friendly.. even their web-site. We booked a two night stay, two 90-minute massages (which were off the charts), romantic package all wrapped up in the Sunset Suite, overlooking the ocean and miles of beaches. The coffee press coffee, luxury robes, comfy bed, beautiful room with fireplace all made for an awesome get-away. Staff were all extremely pleasant and welcoming. Definitely would recommend to friends.

Room Tip: They do have breakfast in the AM, but don't go expecting a feast. It's adequate.

This was my third stay at The Coho in the past three years. I was not disappointed. The service the room, and location was excellent! The only items of mention would be to serve better juices with the continental breakfast, the taste was like drinking rotted fermented fruit. Also, missed having a second waffle maker in the breakfast room; the line had a long wait. Other than minor inconveniences I'd stay her again.

We are always welcoming ideas and suggestions and want to thank you. We used to have two waffles makers, but one of them bit the dust! We are working on replacing that shortly. Thank you for continually visiting us and we look forward to your next visit!!
