Stayed at the Coho for two nights in February in a one bedroom suite. The first night was our family of five and the second night included my parents and there was plenty of room. The living area was huge with a fold out couch, a king sized bed, dining table and kitchenette. There is a seperate bedroom with private bath and another bath attached to the main living area. The last time we stayed here it was very dated but the remodel was very well done. It didn't even look like the same hotel.

Front desk was friendly, the complimentary breakfast was actually very good with quite a variety. Beds were comfortable, room was quiet. Only downside was being on the first floor because we could barely see the ocean from our room. There is a nice lawn outside the sliding glass doors but with two toddlers and an infant we hardly went outside. It would of been nice to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor with a balcony where we could sit and watch the waves without the fear of the little ones running off. The bank is very steep but it was easy to get to the beach since there is a driveway and steps just south of the hotel.

Overall a very nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor if you want to see the shoreline from your room.

Great to hear you enjoyed your stay in the large family suite! We have other family suites on 2nd and 3rd floors that will get you the full balconies, but they are slightly smaller and only have one bathroom. Next time you give us a call, our guest service representatives will be more than happy to walk you through choosing the right room for your needs. We hope to see you again soon!

Great renovated/new property right on the beach in Lincoln City. Friendly 24/7 staff checked us in and presented us with fresh-ground coffee for the morning. The lobby has a cozy fireplace, lots of munchies to get you through the night, a great selection of Oregon wines, and an assortment of Coho garb on hand in case you under-packed for the gusty coast.
Breakfast was yummy - this southern gal appreciated the biscuits and gravy - yummers. Other options for gratis eats included the usual suspects: waffles, oatmeal, bagels, etc. Indoor heated pool and hot tub are nice amenities, as are fire pits overlooking the beach.
Get an ocean-front room (renovated building) and sleep with the window open! Our room was a suite with queen bedroom on parking lot side, and another queen in large room facing the ocean. It was larger than I imagined, being in the renovated building. A 3-panel sliding door and walk-out patio gave us a great view to the crashing waves. Darling retro sink/cooktop/refer unit with cookware and dishes and a little dining table make this room a steal for families getting away for a few nights.
The decor is top-notch and tres hip. Jetson's-meets-boutique with beach theme; not a floral beadspread in sight, which makes this architect very happy. Looking forward to returning!
One negative: bed a a little soft.

Room Tip: We booked a top floor (3rd level) room since I was not sure how great the sound isolation would be i...

Delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay! We also have our fireplace suites for when you return; it has a similar layout, but with a king bed in the front room and a gas fireplace, which would be perfect if you are traveling in the winter time! Winter is also a great time to do storm watching as well. We look forward to your next visit!

We stayed with another couple in the 2 room suite w/ kitchenette on the property. It was amazing! The staff is very friendly and accomodating, the place is clean and the views are amazing. The suite has one actual bedroom and the other bed is in the living room area, but that worked out for us. The toiletries provided were wonderful, and they weren't stingy with them! We played bocce on the lush grassy area just outside our sliding glass door, we enjoyed a few hours by the firepit and we had a couple of beach bonfires with smores and wine! While we were there, we watched families fly kites on the lawn. The beach is a short walk away, or you can drive down and park on the beach, if that's more your style. We enjoyed a wine tasting on the evening of our arrival, and breakfast each morning - complimentary. Truly an enjoyable time, and we are already planning our return trip!

Room Tip: I enjoyed the main level, because the sliding glass door opens right out on the lawn, but if you don...

Sounds like you had a nice, relaxing stay with us. Nothing more relaxing than S'mores and Wine to cap off the day while watching the sunset from our hotel! We truly do not take advantage of that enough.

I want to personally thank Stephen, Krystal, Dan and Kimberly for their personal and caring service. When we checked in we were offered a free movie of our choice and freshly ground coffee for my favorite "Texas Pressed Coffee". This is the first time I've seen this in a motor lodge. By the way excellent tasting. Then we were invited to a wine tasting event. The room was excellent. the next morning we had free breakfast. Oh not just a fruit and a bowl of cerial. They had make your own waffle, biscuts and gravy, etc, etc, etc. Again can't say enough the service was Great!!!

We strive to take care of all of our guests and we're glad to hear that we were able to meet all of your expectations and more! The French Press coffee makers are a wonderful touch to compliment our special "Coho Blend" coffee. It really is the best way to bring out the full flavor of the coffee. Its always wonderful to hear when a guest thoroughly enjoys their stay. We do hope to see you again soon!

We loved our recent night at the Coho Lodge. The check-in was smooth and the front lobby personnel were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The best part of our room was the bed--it was incredibly comfortable!!! Best night of sleep we've had in over a week and a half while visiting Oregon. We also used the sauna, swimming pool, outdoor fire-pits, oceanfront views and elevator all were great aspects of this establishment. e would give this Lodge our highest recommendation and would urge others to stay there. We didn't want to leave !!!!

We have stayed here before with always excellent results, this time not so much. When we checked in service was terrible! There was a gentlemen trying to check in, they could not find his reservation which took both clerks to try and do this? We waited prob a good 15 to 20 min before they got to us. Our room wasn't ready until 4:30. We were never offered coffee or cookies at check in even tho we saw they offered coffee to some othere guests. There was a dog barking off and on on one of the days we were there. For the price which I believed I was misquoted I should have stayed at Spanish Head.

Room Tip: ask not to be near pets!

It's very disappointing for me to hear that this stay at our hotel did not live up to your prior experiences with us. I completely understand your frustrations with the service and I've addressed this matter with the staff involved. There is no excuse for you not being offered basic amenities at check in, whether it be our fresh baked cookies or Coho Blend coffee and I would like to personally apologize that this was missed by our staff. Although dog barking isn't normally an issue here, I'm very sorry you had to listen to such a nuisance this time around and we will make sure to place you in a room well away from pet rooms next time you stay with us. I feel we could have done a much better job to ensure that you were more than satisfied with your stay and I deeply apologize that we fell short this time around. I truly hope you give us the opportunity to make it up to you in the future.
