We wanted a quiet place to unwind but were totally wowed by the view. The place was super clean & had a well supplied kitchen. Grant it that it was off season but it was quiet & we were really able to rest. Close enough to restaurants but we were able to manage making some meals here also. The weather was amazing so we were very blessed

Room Tip: There is no elevator so if you don't like stairs, pick one of the lower levels

My wife and I wanted to see the 2017 solar eclipse and decided to go to Lincoln City, OR, where the total eclipse would first occur in the United States. We were late in booking a reservation, but were fortunate to find a room at the OTC. Most of the other hotels/motels in Lincoln City had been booked months ahead, and those with rooms still available were charging ridiculous prices (some motels were charging $1000 per night or more). Instead, we were able to book a nicely furnished 1-bedroom condo suite with a direct ocean view, small kitchen, and nice bedroom with king bed. The facility is very clean and well maintained. We found the staff to be very friendly and willing to assist us. Our sole criticism of our room (#8) concerned the lounger chairs which were in poor condition and needed to be replaced. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stayed and give it a solid recommendation. My wife and I plan to return for a long weekend sometime in near future.

Room Tip: Best views from 3rd floor ocean view rooms. All rooms can be viewed on OTC's web site.

We usually stay at the Ocean Terrace condominiums in Lincoln City because we find that is very reasonably priced. The prices have gone up, but it's not incredibly high like other hotels that offer oceanfront during the summer. This hotel has a indoor pool, rec room and a sauna. We stayed in a one bedroom for our family of six and it fitted us all quite well because this room had a murphy bed and a sofa bed as well. The Murphy bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed was not, but I guess it is better than sleeping on the floor. There are no breakfast provided with this reservation, but you can make your own breakfast with its full kitchen that includes a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and microwave. It is about a five minute walk down to the beach. You can hear the ocean waves at night. This hotel is pretty basic, but it is a family friendly hotel that will suit a family on a budget who wants to have the ocean front.

The staff was very friendly. The unit we stayed in was on the ocean side. Great views but unfortunately, the weather was very overcast like it can be in Lincoln City. Good thing they have a very warm indoor pool so the kids had a great time regardless. Will definitely book with them in the future.

My family and I have been staying at Ocean Terrace for over 6 years and have never been disappointed. We've stayed in more than 4 of the rooms and at different times of the year and each time gets better. Room #7 is our favorite and would recommend this place for couples and families.

Room Tip: Room #7 sleeps up to 6 people,TV in both rooms a Murphy bed and pull out sofa in the living room.
