We have stayed at Beachfront Manor before, but this is my first review. We actually got married on the beach right outside the hotel. We stayed on the 5th floor, and had an ocean view room. The room was huge! The bathroom, tiny... but nice. There was a hot tub on the deck that was so perfect- I didnt care that the shower was so small. I will upload pictures later, but just wanted to send out this review and let anyone who is considering staying here that you will NOT be dissapointed. We had rose petals on the bed and our robes layed on the bed as well. The bed is amazing! infact... I would like to know just which model etc. it is so I can go and buy one for myself.

We loved our stay at the Beachfront Manor Hotel. We had a beachfront room -- if we kept the door open we could hear the ocean almost too loudly! The beach was steps from our room. We had a little deck with chairs where we sat every morning. It was a great beach for walking on -- clean sand etc... Every night there were a handful of small fires lite on the beach.

The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom and little kitchen (microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator) area were great. The room had a flat screen TV with a dvd player.

It would have been great to have a dresser. In the closet there are two benches but really no place to unpack. We were there for a week and it would have been nice to pull everything out of our bags.

This is the quietest hotel/motel room I have ever stayed in. Our room was by the stairs (ok, the other slight downside is that you had to go down 3 flights of stairs to get to our room) and we were a little concerned about that there would be the constant sound of people walking up and down the stairs. We put one of the two fans in the room on at night and never heard a thing. Our upstairs neighbors were noisy but the front desk was very responsive to our concern (it is a pet peeve of mine to have a quiet room).

The hotel is a little hard to find (go toward the Starfish and the Beachfront is up and to the right) but well worth the trip.

NO INTERNET ACCESS!!!! they tell you that you will pick up the signal from starfish manor but you can't!!!

We went here for the first half of or Oregon coast honeymoon, the room was nice. Everything was fine, except for how hot the room gets and that you cannot adjust the heat at all. You have to open all windows and keep a fan on to get the temperature down. You could not hear the people in the other rooms, very quiet. Yes you do have to go to the other hotel to check in or to get extra things but this hotel is advertised for couples and romance not for kids and teenagers so what do you expect!!!!! They leave you alone unless you want to be bothered. However, we did request daily housekeeping when we checked in, it was not done two days in a row and had to request it again every day until it was finally done on the 3rd day we were there. Should have some sort of keyed entry to beach as everyone from the public uses the stairway to get to the beach. It is a lot of stairs to climb, but not any trouble for those in shape!

We stayed here four nights. There is no front desk in this motel so for everything one must trot across the parking lots to a sister hotel. Everytime you need extra towels, coffee, etc.. you must walk to the other hotel, a real pain after the first day. The TV is at a wierd angle on a side wall making it impossible to watch. The bathroom toilet alcove area is so small a large person would get stuck in it, seriously. The bathroom sink was plugged with sand and overflowed. It was "repaired", then did the same thing five minutes later. The staff acted like we had caused the problem. There was an ironing board but no iron. I called the front desk, was told one would be brought over right away, but never was. We did not have the wherewithal to walk across that parking lot again to fetch it. They charged the reservation credit card though I gave them the correct card to bill at checkout. It took five phone calls to straighten it out!! The noise outside our room was incredible. People not even staying here use their stairway for beach access at all hours.

This place was exactly as advertised. The amenities are modern and the beds are THE MOST comfortable on the coast (rival The W beds actually). My wife and I really needed a getaway and Beachfront Manor delivered in every way. You are RIGHT ON the beach I mean nothing between you and the ocean but sand. loved our stay and will certainly be back again and again.

We stayed at Beachfront Manor in mid-May. We booked one of the 6th floor rooms with the hot tub on the deck. It was FANTASTIC! Being able to be in the hot tub, with the ocean view and noise AND seeing the stars above you was just perfection! The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Very nice room color and with the vaulted ceilings, seemed much larger than it is.

Bathroom is small, but functional. Wish there were more counter space at the sink, but understand with the need for micro and fridge, that takes up some space. Great closet space. The robes are a nice touch - slightly larger would have been better. The rose petals on the bed set off the romantic mood - glad there is no housekeeping unless requested so no need to get up early.

Great to have the DVD player w/ the big flat screen TV - fireplace was romantic. Being at the end of the walkway was just how we would have wanted it - total privacy and no need for anyone to come down to our room.

Agree that unscrewing the lightbulb outside the door is necessary - as the blinds are thin. The only drawback is that the light comes in EARLY in the AM and if you want to sleep in, it's difficult. Blackout blinds would be great. A small price to pay for the view and the hot tub.

As for the rules..didn't think there were too many. This place caters to romance and I understand the need to keep the places clean and orderly for the next folks. Also understand the no kids on certain floors..would have put a damper on our weekend if there had been kids running up and down the outside hallway, for sure!

Overall - a great experience - we will stay longer next time! 2 nights was not enough...sure didn't hurt that the weather was amazing that weekend as well!

We enjoyed our stay at the Beachfront. Liked that it was renovated and modern amneties compared to a lot of the cheapy motels in Lincoln City. The price was great too for having a beach front room with a direct view of the ocean. The only thing that bugged us was all the "Rules" they impose and seem to work really hard to enforce. Their no kids rule, no housekeeping unless you request it, their check in and check out times and the fact that they charge $100 if you break one of their rules. I guess if we were only staying one night this would not have bugged us but because we were there 2 nights we noticed how uptight they were here. Would recommend for a short stay.
