“Great waiter, good and plentiful food”

We had the steamer clams which were excellent and plentiful. Can't say enough about our great waiter as well. Nice family atmosphere.

“Friendly waitress”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2014

We stopped in Pier 101 for lunch and were greeted by a friendly guy and shown to a booth. It really sort of feels like your in the hull of an old ship. Dark wooded walls and ceilings, ropes and other old ship stuff, big stone fireplace - overall a cozy atmosphere. I liked the vibe minus the country music station being played.

The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. We both noticed the prices at first glance of the menu. $13.99 was about the low for entrees and it went up from there. I had high hopes for the food since it was a bit high priced for many places in LC so I ordered the cod & chips with a cup of chowder. The cup of chowder was very good, lots of clams and not overly salty. Not too chunky or runny, the consistency was just how I liked it.

The cod and chips came out, three triangles of cod and a handful and a half of fries. The fish had an overpowering fry-oil flavor and not much fish. The fries were fine. Portion size was a bit disappointing for how expensive it was. The waitress was helpful and checked on us frequently. I didn't think there was anything worth complaining about or sending back but I had higher hopes for the cod and chips. If they knocked the cod and chips down about 4 or 5 bucks then I'd say fair for sure. A bit expensive for what we ate.

“never again”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014

nice staff but food was sub-par. cold, slow, one dish we had to send back, the chowder was cold and had to reheat. this was a sunday night and there were maybe 1/4 of the resturant full so absolutely no excuse. i felt sorry for the waitress havibg to put up with this kitchen staff.

“Nice dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014

We went here twice for dinner while in Lincoln City. The menu is diverse and the wait to get in wasn't as long as other places. The servers were efficient so things moved relatively quickly. If you're looking for a place to go with kids this is a good choice. It's definitely family friendly.

“Pier 101 a Must Stop for Sea Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

While touring the West Coast this Spring we were told to try this restaurant. First off we were met by an extremely friendly server who was talkative, funny and made us feel at home. We tried a lot of sea food and it was very fresh and tasted out of this world. This restaurant is located near the beach and has great ambience both inside and out. Prices were very good, considering the generous portions we were served. We lucked out on this one...
