The front desk was friendly & helpful. Warm chocolate chip cookies were available on a plate at the desk, as well as lemon water.
The room was comfortable and clean.
This Hotel is very dog friendly we also got a welcome bag for our dog with goodies and a lot of information.
We hardly recomend this Hotel and if we come back in this area we stay here again!!!

If you are traveling to the coast and wanting an ocean view, this motel is not for you, but if you are looking only for comfort and affordability, it is an excellent choice. We were a little worried that its being located on the busy coastal Highway 101 it would be noisy, but we had a room facing the highway and we really didn't hear the traffic.
The motel has only a couple of rooms on the third floor with a peak at the ocean five blocks away, but we weren't there for the view. The room was spacious and immaculate. The office personnel were friendly and helpful. Warm chocolate chip cookies were available on a plate at the front desk, as well as lemon water. We were surprised our room had no air conditioning, but a fan was provided and with the coastal air that was all that was needed.
Breakfast was ample and normal fare for this type of motel.

Room Tip: We had a little highway noise because we opened the window for the coastal air, but I am sure the ba...

Green Features: There were posted signs that if you didn't need new towels or sheet daily to indicate that, but we were staying only one night so it didn't apply.

I stay here when I'm in Lincoln City. It's on the 101 highway, but the hotel itself is set back deep in the parking lot. The lot looks like it just got new asphalt and landscapers were planting new bushes and flowers. The price is right for this area, but expect more during peak season. The room was spacious for king with sofa and balcony. Great view on the high floor right to the beach. There's chairs on the balcony to soak in the sun. Everything you need is here with surprisingly good restaurants nearby as I've eaten at the Mexican restaurant, Puerto Vallarta, literally across the street.

On our trip we quickly learned in this area there were not the "brand" hotels. Took a chance based on trip advisor reviews. The front desk was friendly & helpful. Room was clean, breakfast was ok. Only hiccup was the air wasn't working properly. I mentioned it at check out so it could be fixed and the clerk very nicely reduced the room rate for the inconvenience. I would stay here again based on cleanliness & the wonderful staff. Also - great value!

On the good side,

The evening staff (David & Charise) are great! It's a decent location, Average sized rooms with fair prices. Staff friendly. Quiet on the back side of the hotel for the most part. Breakfast was ok but could have a little more variety and not exactly the same every day.

On the bad side,

There is no AC in the rooms. Granted, this is a coastal town in Oregon and for the most part, AC would not be required. The office has portable units if they are not all taken. The Day shift needs to be more informed about bugs. We found silverfish in the bathroom and brought it to the attention of the front desk. They didn't know what it was or anything about them. They said they would look into it but we never heard back.
I usually stay on my trips for 7+ days on most trips and only require housekeeping every 3rd day or so. The person doing the housekeeping did not wipe anything down, partially vacuumed and threw the bed together like he/she was in a hurry (very sloppy). They didn't even take out the trash. Once we told David at the front desk, he jumped into action and cleaned out room right away. (Thanks David ! ! !)

Smoking on the back side of the hotel was an issue. We couldn't leave our window/slider open for fresh air due to the smoke. We were told that there is no smoking in the back and a smoking area in front of the hotel but they don't police it. They will look into it if someone complains. Perhaps management can post "No Smoking" signs in the back parking lot like they have on the decks.

There is a lot of room for improvement on this property such as staff and housekeeping training but it has the potential to be a great place.

Room Tip: There is not much of a view being a coastal hotel but the rooms are decent and average if not a litt...

Thank you for your detailed review. I'm pleased that David and Cherise helped make you comfortable during your stay, but was disappointed to see the issues you encountered. The staff did not know anything about the insects you found in your room since it was the first time any of of our guests have ever complained of insects since I began working here in 2012. We have informed ourselves now about the silverfish insect you found in your room and found out that it is harmless and easy to get rid of. We treated your room and are confident that we have eliminated the problem. I apologize that your stayover housekeeping service did not meet your nor our expectations. I have since spoken with your housekeeper about how to give proper and thorough stayover service. Smokers are allowed to smoke 10 feet away from the building. "No smoking" signs are posted on the patios and balconies, but guests are allowed to smoke in the parking lot. I truly hope you decide to give us another chance and return. I promise you will find the same excellent custom service and of course no insects during your next stay.

We were treated exceptionally nice from the time we made the call for reservations through check-out. We found the rooms very clean and well supplied, just like the pictures on the internet. We were a little leary, not knowing anything about the Inn but took a chance. (We have been burned before.) Well . . . not this time. The rooms we had were wonderful, as were the people. And . . . wait for the breakfast, it was delicious, hot and very well stocked. Awesome ! ! ! All four of us are disabled and they accommodated everything we asked of them. Their prices were a lot more reasonable than most motel/hotels in the area. We highly recommend the Inn at Wecoma.

Room Tip: We had two patio rooms with two queen beds each and a walk-out patio to parking lot. Nice for unload...

First off, I would like to tell Mollie thank you so much for the upgrade when she had asked what we were in town for and I told her my wedding. I found the staff amazing, the room VERY clean, and my now husband was in awe of the breakfast. We are so happy to have found this hotel, and I will be returning with my daughter and husband next year.

Room Tip: We loved that the 10pm to 12am pool hours were adult only. Bright rooms, great food, and the snack b...
