This spacious and well appointed house on Siletz Bay is truly fabulous. My wife and I took some close friends along with a couple of teenage girls for a long weekend and nobody wanted to leave---ever. The house is comfortable and full of windows that let in the sun (when it deems to shine) and the views (which are lovely).
The girls took the kayaks out into the bay---something we wouldn't have let them do in the ocean or a river---and they had a ball. They also found the hot tub irresistible. We had a great ping pong tournament. We walked the beach which is a really pretty beach near the top of the bay. A quick bike ride will get you to the actual ocean if you must---but the calmness and remoteness (far fewer people) of the bay was wonderful. When the tide goes out, the beach is huge and full of shrimp and clams (yes we dug for clams).
The kitchen is large and open---easy for three or more people to be working in the kitchen at the same time. The kitchen, dining, and living room are all together with high ceilings and more windows than you can count. There's a great wooden deck on the front and side of the house, with wooden chairs---a great place to hang out and enjoy the sea air.
The decor was beachy, but tasteful. Hardwood floors downstairs were easy to sweep (beach sand accumulates so quickly) and the upstairs master suite is fully carpeted. The beds were dreamy.
I'd rate this place a 10 out of 10---and if you knew how hard to please I am, that would tell you just how great this beach house is.

My family rented the "Ebb and Flow" house for three days to end our Oregon vacation road trip. It was a great house for us. I loved the location on Siletz bay. We could walk out our door to the back porch and take our private path to the beach. We had enough privacy in our yard but such easy access to the beach.
Our first morning we walked out on the beach around 8:30 am on Friday and had the beach to ourselves. Not counting the great blue heron, 3 types of sea birds, a bald eagle, but best of all the 10+ sea lions napping on the sand.
The house provided us with two kayaks and two crab rings. I loved going out and trying to crab in the kayak. Note: crabbing from a kayak is not the best way to crab, we still caught three crabs, and had lots of fun.
The house itself was very nice with three king beds in each of the three rooms. Two sets of bunk beds in one of the rooms was good for the kids.
The only issues we had were the appliances were very cheap and only worked so-so. The dishwasher didn't clean our dishes well, nor the washing machine our clothes. Also the laundry facilities was in the bedroom with the bunk beds and make doing the laundry inconvenient.
These problems were very minor to me and understandable in a rental house. Everything else was so great I could overlook it.
I'm hoping to go back next summer and rent the same house.
