My visit actually started on their website. The website allows you to look at every room with a panoramic view and the cost of each room. I chose room #304 the romantic suite. This room is located in a separate stand alone building that includes four units.

The front desk staff was professional during the reservation and check in process. Check in is 4 pm which was later than I liked but plenty to do in Lincoln City to entertain myself.

Upon entering the unit I was immediately happy that the smell of cleaning products was not evident. This is a no pet unit so no smells at all! Rarely do I find a rental unit of any kind this spotless and clean. The carpeting appeared new and spotless. The bed was something one I would love to have in my home. The unit had everything one needs for a pleasurable stay.

An extra touch was a full size coffee maker and packets of great coffee. Utensils and dinnerware all appeared new with no wear and tear. Flat screen wall mounted TV's in the living room and bedroom.

The room included a nice portfolio with valuable information. Wi-Fi was strong and I encountered no internet problems.

The balcony was great and being so close to the ocean made for great reading time.

Once I returned home I realized that I had forgotten my IPAD charger. The front desk staff was friendly and agreed to mail it back to me. I received it in two days!

If I could change one thing.....The continental breakfast room has a sign that says food must be consumed in that particular area and not taken back to your room. I wish a note about that had been included in the binder in the room. Once we had items on our plate we saw the sign. After chatting with the attendant we explained we had not been aware and regretfully had already handled our bagels. She assured us it was OK to take them. The rule came about because of the waste they were finding in the rooms. My tip would be to bring your food items with you as there is nothing like coffee, food and sitting on the room balcony to enjoy.

Room Tip: I would suggest a 2nd floor room. The views are so much nicer from the upper levels.

We just returned from one of the most relaxing vacations Ever !!! The view from our "Romantic" suite was gorgeous. The rooms were spacious, the kitchenette had everything we needed and the Spa in the front room with the ocean view was perfect. Such a nice staff too ! Thank you Sea Horse we can't wait to come back. Sincerely, Edyta

Room Tip: The "Romance Suite" was roomy and had a great view !

This was the first time I had ever been here and it was Wonderful! The room was perfect with a nice fireplace and a huge window that looked out to the ocean. It was great to have a microwave, full size coffee pot and fridge! The room was very clean too.The continental breakfast was nice and just enough to start your day. All the employees were so helpful and great to suggest good restaurants. I will be back to this great place for more R & R. Even received a thank you note for staying here.

This hotel was nice. The room could have used a little extra work; cabinets were torn and the carpet had lots of rips. The bed wasn't too comfy either but we have to say the hot tub experience made our trip :) watching the sunset on the beach from the tub was so relaxing and beautiful. But, I think they should keep a squeegee in there because the windows get pretty foggy. The staff was very nice. We also had a little unexpected ocean view from the window in our room that you could see from the bed, that was really cool :)

My partner and I stayed in the "Romance Suite" with in-room jacuzzi the week before Christmas. We loved our stay. The jacuzzi was everything we hoped for and spent a large portion of our stay soaking, listening to the waves, spotting sea lions and sipping champagne. The room felt more like a nice condo than a hotel room, which we really appreciated.

Our advice to make your stay even more wonderful- grab a bottle of champagne and some cheese or chocolate to enjoy while soaking in the jacuzzi. Once you get to the room, you won't want to leave, no matter the time of year. The fireplace in the corner really keeps things toasty in winter. Glasses and dishes are provided in a stocked kitchenette. We also brought a couple of our favorite movies to watch while soaking which we were really glad we did- the large flat screen TV is easy to see from the tub.

My review was not 5 stars because the continental breakfast offered by the hotel is disappointing. There are packaged muffins, some fruit, old bagels and diluted juice and you must eat all food in the breakfast area, which is a basement room. (Sure takes away the fun of eating in your room with a beautiful view!) However, part of my Groupon deal for this hotel included a voucher to the Wildflower Grill just a bit down the road and it was truly FANTASTIC- you must try their home made bread. The Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant in Lincoln City is also probably our favorite Mexican restaurant in Oregon.

Room Tip: Treat yourself to the romance suite! Nothing quite like a jacuzzi in room.
