“Loved it!!!”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

We took a spur of the moment kind of trip to Lincoln City and spent the night down there. We made a reservation the night before on Hotels.com and got a decent price for a night there. We were so impressed with our room. It was very nice and every room there has a view of the ocean. We got lucky and our room had a patio that we were able to enjoy. The room was very spacious, it had 2 queen beds and a love seat and table with 2 chairs. Also a microwave and a fridge. The microwave came in handy as my little guy and I enjoyed some popcorn we were able to purchase in the lobby! We will definitely be returning to this Hotel! We were very pleased!!

We recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend away with the kids. When we got there we were supposed to have a patio and instead had windows that barely opened and a screen sitting inside on the ground. The bathroom was filthy with dust, dirt and even a spider nested in the corner. The light above the sinks had a cover that was hanging off. Then the worst part, getting in bed my mom noticed a hair when she pulled back the sheets. After further inspection one hair turned into MANY! I was completely disgusted. I really think the bed wasn't even changed. I wish I had read more reviews before booking.

I would really like to give this place another star because it really is a good value compared to most waterfront properties on the Oregon Coast. The view was great and the room was generally clean but there were a few things, however, that just won't justify more than three stars.

I'm not saying the king size bed was too hard or anything but if you look closely you can still see where the billiard pockets were mounted. What were they thinking? The shower valve was so erratic that if I barely turned it to the hot side it would go ice cold. Then I would go back the other way and it would go from scalding to cold again. It appeared that hot was in the middle and cold was on either side. The temperature extremes distracted me from the mold on the walls and ceiling and the hideous caulking job on the top of the fake tile surround. You only had to wait for 5 or 6 seconds for the bathroom light to stop flickering like a strobe light and come on with a feeble glow. The cable TV was intermittent. Local Portland channels would disappear altogether in the middle of a show. The signal would vary from 1966 snowy mush to pristine HD quality.

Now I can't say this affected our stay too much but the Lady GaGa inspired carpeting was quite hideous. It was shades of black and gray with wavy light lines running through and large flower blossoms in various colors. It made casino carpeting seem quite pleasant. The sofa was dirty and stained and made me prefer to lay on the pool table, I mean bed, to watch TV.

Yes, the front desk lady was quite pleasant and she wisely avoided asking me how we liked our stay when we checked out.

This hotel is located in the historic Taft District, which is a pretty cool place. Great beach/ river location. The hotel is OK but the price is right. The breakfast will get you by but not much more. All and all a good visit. The staff was great except the one female working the evening shift. She needs to go !!!!

Oh, and there is no pool....

Room Tip: They only have a few balconies, so we were told to call the hotel directly to make sure we could get...

We've been here for several years and though it seems they try hard, things are going downhill. The rates are very good and the rooms are initially clean but...holes in walls in many places, broken balcony chairs, terrible pillows, barely passable breakfast, it's just not what it used to be. After the first day, our room was only vacuumed once, coffee pot not cleaned, missing clean towels, countertops not wiped off. Just sad to even consider staying somewhere else.

This place was a great find!!! Very nice, clean, quiet & comfortable room, and view was amazing! Newer large flat screen TV, you can't beat the room rates for these bay/ocean facing rooms! The male evening desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. I took my elderly mother for the weekend and he was very accommodating in carrying items, opening doors, saving close parking space for us and providing recommendations for dining. Very conveniently located to coffee shops, shopping, casino & Mo's Chowder house. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Great view from all rooms, ours was on the 3rd floor and it was fabulous!

We weren't expecting much at 69 dollars, boy were we surprised! We had a king bed on the fourth floor with a balcony and a great view of the bay and ocean. The room was large and included a couch and coffee table. The room was very clean and updated, our only complaint was the pillows were hard and flat. The breakfast is minimal but adequate. We will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor with balcony.
