What a great hotel! Beachfront room-FABULOUS!
Clean, great staff....Everyone was pleasant and helpful...Nice, nice, nice!!
Beach access, proximity to shopping, proximity casino gambling, dancing-great party atmosphere is very close and safe feel...shuttle/ transportation was provided... Breakfast and coffee in the AM---can't ask for more!
I highly recommend this quiet little CLEAN hotel!

Room Tip: Room next to the office was fantastic!! Clean and exceeded expectations...Very nice!

for less then $100 a night, you get a nice clean room, refrig, microwave, stairs down to the beach, and a pleasant and accommodating staff that make you feel welcomed. The breakfast was the usual continental type that you could take to your room. They sent pre and post stay e-mails welcoming and thanking us for staying that their motel.

It was great to find a beachfront room that was affordable. The Service at the front desk was amazing. They were able to tell us where to find great places to eat, etc. Their little continental breakfast, that you could take to your room, was nice. The only negative is that, because it is an older building, you can hear your neighbor's plumbing.

Room Tip: We loved the King patio room because we could walk right out to the beach. If you don't want people walking by your room, stay in the upper floor rooms.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast is nice. Beach access is good, coming back up after long walks on the beach is a little tiring but worth it. Loved the beach light at night. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. They do need to check the batteries in the emergency kit for flashlights and change batteries in the TV remotes.

Room Tip: Rooms with patios on bottom level are small but comfy. Bathroom is tiny. View is wonderful. Walking out of the sliders to the beach stairs is a plus but privacy is lacking. Walls seem a little thin. Noise was an issue at times. 3rd floor rooms have amazing views and are spacious.

We have stayed at Pelican Shores 3 times now and have always enjoyed our stay. Staff is always very helpful and effecient. The rooms are always clean and beds comfortable. It's a very short walk out the back door and down the stairs to the beach. Very quiet location too!

Room Tip: When booking on line, make sure to read the details about whether it is an Ocean view or street view room.
