Spent the weekend with the girls at Pelican Shores. This is our second stay here. Loved it once again. Great place to stay, never disappointed. Clean, friendly, beach front, great prices. We stayed in room 222 this time. Had a great view of the beach from my bed and a nice window to leave open at night to listen to the ocean waves crashing. It is a quiet motel, but also has a pool inside to swim in. The last time we stayed here we had the Kind Suite. It is nice for a girls weekend because it can sleep up to 6 people comfortably and has 2 bathrooms, which that many women need to get ready for a great day of shopping at the outlets.

Room Tip: Overall you can't go wrong. Bottom floors have nice patios upper floors have a great view of the...

We immediately felt very comfortable when we stayed for two nights recently. Because this property is owned/managed by Westover Inns Hotels we were not surprised at the high quality of our rooms. Our beds were super comfortable and small kitchen was equipped with every thing we needed. We liked our rooms on the second floor because we had no stairs from the parking lot to deal with for older folks. No balconies for these rooms but they do have huge windows with a very expansive ocean and beach view. Lower level rooms have patios that with outside seating but you have a navigate a few stairs. There is a third level as well with the best view but some stairs again. This property is on a bluff over looking the beach so beach access is via a pretty serious set of stairs. Nice folks running a nicely maintained place, Westover also owns the Looking Glass Inn at the South End of Lincoln City and Schooner's Cove Inn in Cannon Beach also on the Oregon Coast. Both are worth checking out.

Room Tip: Older folks would appreciate the no stairs required second rooms which are actually at parking lot l...

My mom booked this stay for a girls weekend for the two of us and my niece who was also visiting. We completely fell in love with our fireplace suite and the Huge picture windows covering the end of the room facing the ocean! I've never stayed in a hotel this close to the actual beach and it was amazing!! You could hear the waves crashing just by cracking the window which we all loved! It was cool too to come back to the room after frolicking in the ocean and sit in front of the fireplace (which I made fun of my mom for wanting to get in May!). The kitchenette was also very nice, no oven but then we didn't find the need for one either. We also loved the separate bedroom with the two queen beds, very helpful since my mom gets up quite a bit earlier so my niece and I could close ourselves off in the bedroom. Our favorite though was just the closeness to the beach, the views from the room, and the ease in getting down to the actual beach! The stairs were very short and easily navigable as compared to a lot we saw at other hotels as we walked along the beach. Oh the wifi was amazing too! We were as far away from the office as we could get and we often were using 2 ipads and 1 iphone together. I think the only complaint was the coffee was horrible the first day and only slightly better the rest of the trip and the continental breakfast didn't really impress either but other than that we would all highly recommend this hotel and I know for sure my husband and I will be coming here ourselves in the near future!!

Great small hotel right on the beach in a residential neighborhood. Nice to hear the surf. Had a 2 room, 2 bathroom suite for the family on the first floor. There was a table with 4 chairs in one room, there was silverware too. Both rooms had refrigerators, microwaves and coffee pots! Our adult sons were in the 2 queen room and my husband and I had the king room with the view of the ocean. Sat on the patio outside steps from the beach. Friendly staff, ample parking close to the room, continental breakfast in the morning. We spent 1 night on a trip down the coast and it was perfect. Also walking distance to a great restaurant (very surprised in this small town) Blackfish Cafe.

Room Tip: The rooms on the first floor have patios to sit on with chairs. Close to the steps down to the beac...

Love Pelican Shore. Easy access to the beach, gorgeous views, what we always need when we get away!! The pool is great but not very little little people friendly. The shallow end is 3-4 feet deep and it's not much space. My 3 year old had to wear a life jacket the whole time. But she is a fish so she didn't care. We will continue to stay here when we are at the coast!!

Room Tip: Queen suites have a fridge, sink, 2 burner stove top, couple dishes and a fireplace. Gorgeous rooms!
