The view is great but don't stay in the Yester Year rooms. The mold was growing up the bath-tube and someone named Katy at the front office offered me a bottle of cleaner. I complained four times and the last person said the owners would not allow them to use a bleach pen. I had an asthma attack and spend seventy dollars on meds. The sofa was so dirty we had to cover it with a blanket and the sink in the kitchen was stopped up the first day. The carpet was terrible as well. We had just returned from the Yachats area and when to Cannon Beach after the Lincoln City debacle. The other rooms may be nice but the service is terrible.... The MOLD is a health issue.

Great view and location right on the beach with lots of windows. By the way you can have a fire on the beach. We had the two bedroom suite with kitchen on the bottom floor. It was just steps to the beach. The flooring in the entire place needs replacing actually there was a hole in the kitchen floor under the mat as you enter. The tub is big but the grate over the filter is filthy and I wouldn't have a bath. There is much too much to mention that needs replacing. The fridge was clean as was the oven and dishes.
The staff seemed good. We really didn't have any interaction with them other than checking in. They did say if we needed anything to just let them know and did offer housekeeping which we declined. We stayed three nights and wanted to be left alone which is exactly what we got. To bad there is so much that needs to be done because it has potential.....mostly due to location that is. Having said all that I did enjoy sitting and taking in the view and just relaxing.

My Fiance and I stayed at the Nantucket Inn for our 2 year Anniversary July 11th-13th, 2009. We were in the Cape Cod #4 room. This was our first time there. We had a rather enjoyable stay. Check-in was fast and easy at the Starfish Manor. We were given 2 keys and directions about a few blocks down to the Nantucket Inn itself. We requested extra towels on arrival. They won't do housekeeping unless you request. They even told us when they would deliver them (right on time the next morning). They alott one parking spot per room..and there weren't any available when we drove up. We called from our room and the other cars somehow moved out of the spots pretty fast.
This place was decorated very romantically. Rose petals on the bed, robes laid out, chocolates on the pillows, sea salts and more rose petals near the gorgeous whirlpool tub!
There is a closet w/ plenty of hangers as well as a luggage holder. The place also provides a kitchenette w/ a fridge/microwave/coffee maker. They also have plates/cups/wineglasses/silverware etc.
The bed was very cozy. Wonderful linens and piles of pillows. The view is amazing as well. Easy access to the beach.
The big drawback for us was that there was not any A/C. The room got hot fast. We tried cooling it down with the one open window/bathroom window/door open. We did find a fan in the closet but the room did stay quite warm. I imagine on a cold fall day it would feel wonderful. There is also a gas fireplace in the room.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay with them again in the future.

After hours of research we chose the Nantucket Inn in Lincoln City Oregon, we stayed in the penthouse suite a small top floor room, with a large bathroom and 2 person jetted tub. The decor was really nice with a main room overlooking the ocean. When we arrived the robes were on the bed with rose petals and chocolates, rose petals around the tub and bath salts. The queen bed was soft with quality sheets and fluffy pillows, a large leather headboard, perfect for sitting against, viewing the TV at night, we left the patio door open all the time to hear the waves crashing, lulled us to sleep every night. The Inn was really quiet just the way we like it , no kids, no pets , no smoking! Perfect. The stairs went right to the beach that we walked for miles every morning. The sea life amazing when the tides were out!
The staff was great at the front desk (Starfish Manor)just down the street) This was a perfect 4 night get away to celebrate our anniversary. I would suggest this to any one for a quiet romantic stay.
The town of Lincoln was lots of fun people freindly, whale watching just down the road in Depot bay, lots to see and do with in an hours drive from town along the beautiful Oregon Coast.

These folks own three properties and this is the smallest, I think, with just a handful of rooms. The rooms are OCEANFRONT with direct beach access. Upon arrival, our king bed had robes layed out for us and rose petals on the comforter and on the jaccuzi tub. You cannot get any loser to the sea, which roared all night and lulled us to sleep. The staff is super friendly and the price cannot be beat. We paid 99 bucks for a Sunday night stay. Amazing! Stay here. We will be back for sure. No kids/pets/smoking a huge plus for this place.

The Nantucket Inn has become our "home" on the Oregon Coast. My husband and I celebrated our last 3 wedding anniversaries there. We stay in the Yesteryear Suite. The location is perfect for those who want to be close to the ocean. Just 12 steps down to the beach from our room! And the views are unbeatable.

The staff for the Nantucket is professional, friendly and very helpful. We had a small incident where our coffee maker broke, so I called and within a short period of time, staff was knocking on our door with a brand new pot. We didn't have to wait long at all. They are really knowledgable about things to do at the Oregon coast.

The Nantucket is designed like your very own "beach house". One of the great luxuries is not having anybody bother you while you stay there. There's only 4 other suites and you won't have anybody knocking on your door for maid service, unless you request it.

The suite has everything we could possibly need. The kitchenette is clean and well appointed with a full sized refridgerator and a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric skillet, and dishes & utensils. We particularly liked the 2 person whirltub after a long day on our feet. The only thing we would change would be to upgrade the king sized bed to a memory foam bed or some other upgraded mattress. It's not as comfortable as ours is at home.

We always take time to get massages at the Rejuvenation Day Spa, and to make our own glass float at the glass shop. All of those things are right in Lincoln City. Our stay was very relaxing and we didn't want to go home. We'll definately be back.

My Husband and I stayed in the Cape Cod Room and thought it was awesome even though it had no balcony,The ocean front windows were just fine with us,we could open one and listen to the ocean at night and for this reason I wouldn't stay in the suites with a bedroom in the back.
The jacuzzi tub was very nice and I enjoyed it alot.
It is obvious that they spent some money on the place at one time so it was a mystery to us why there was no where to put the clothes besides a closet which you could hang things. Also no counter in bathroom, only narrow shelf in which my expensive make-up fell off and I was disappointed about that.
My friends who stayed in the penthouse suite said that was thier only complaint as well.
We both really enjoyed our time there and would return in a heart beat and probably will one of these days.
Also awesome area of the beach and enjoyed walking and finding shells and agates.
Front desk staff was very friendly and maintainence staff prompt and friendly as well.
