My wife and I spent our 10th Anniversary at this hotel. The room, lobby, staff, amenities, etc., were wonderful. It was an exceptionally clean room and bathroom. The Kyllo's Restaurant next door was also very good. We only wish the hotel was right on the beach. Kyllo's is between the hotel and the beach, so the view is not quite as good as some of the other hotels in town. However, still a wonderful spot for a romantic getaway.

Stayed at the hotel on Sep 27-28, 2004. Got the best deal calling the hotel direct. A six-story building set back from the beach. No direct view to beach as another motel in front of it. Reserved deluxe Queen on 2nd floor. Room was clean, conservatively furnished, fireplace, refrig, etc. but lacked personality. Staff and premises were outstanding. Complimentary continental (fruit, juice, coffee, small rolls) breakfast delivered to room.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice, once just a couple of weeks ago and both times it has been wonderful. The staff is on top of everything and makes sure that everything is to your liking. The hotels ammenities make it very comfortable and inviting along with the very comfortable beds. It also has a great location being very close to the beach for a romantic stroll. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a stress free weekend getaway or a romantic time with that special someone.

This is the best small hotel we have ever stayed at. We always celebrate our anniversary here and get the most wonderful personal service. Carl makes us feel just like family and we love it...

The O'Dysius Hotel is not your run-of-the-mill coastal motels. It's more like a cross between a bed and breakfast and nice European style boutque hotel. The staff are extremely gracious and accommodating.
There are many nice touches you wouldn't expect -- wine and snacks are served in the lobby every evening, they provide turndown service and a continental breakfast is delivered to your room in the morning along with a newspaper. We had a standard room, but it was anything but standard. There was a fireplace and a jetted tub in the bathroom. The custom furnishings were tasteful and a nice change from standard hotel/motel fare. Try the O'Dysisus for a romantic getaway. You won't be disappointed.
