Congratulations on producing a small, but excellent museum representing Lincoln County. We spent an hour downstairs and upstairs, but could have stayed longer. There's even an area for those who remember the Pixie Kitchen and I loved sitting on the stuffed chair watching the loop video of old Lincoln City photos. You'll discover a small room for kids...a giant kaleidoscope and a saddle to sit on are waiting for young ones. NO FEE either!

This is a really cool museum that shows tons of history of the area around Lincoln City in pictures and artifacts. It is well worth the stop and sure to keep the family entertained for a couple of hours.

What a great way to spend an hour or two with the family. Lots to explore, adults and kids. Super easy to find. We walked over after lunch at Moe's.

Me and my husband recently visited here and I loved it. Being a lover of history I found it to be very informative and educational. The exhibits were great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. This would be a wonderful place to visit with family if you want to learn the history of the area. Highly recommended :)

Please visit the Taft Pioneer Cemetery before going to the museum. That sounds odd, but we went there first, noted all the names on the graves, and when we went to this museum, our curiosity about those people was satisfied by this museum. They have histories on each family ... so fascinating! Amazing that entrance to the museum is free. Lovely. But you must see the cemetery, at least for the spectacular view! Just be careful crossing the highway and driving on the one-way road up. So worth it - both locations!
