The original Mo's in Newport was a great experience in the 1970s and for one or two decades after that. Then they decided to expand and are now in several locations on the coast. We visited this Mo's in Lincoln City on a recent trip to the Oregon coast. This was mid-week and the restaurant was not busy. We were seated expeditiously and did not have to wait long for our food. Both of us had the cup of clam chowder and a combination plate of fish, oysters and clams. The chowder was not up to the standards we were used to but passable. The combination plate was fine, quite generous actually and we took some of the food home. The service was good. Other reviewers have commented that all the food is deep friend. In Mo's defense, there are other options on the menu - they have now introduced other items such as hamburgers, chili and a few other offerings. All in all, this is a decent place to eat, service is good and the view is quite nice - particularly if you have one of the window tables.
If you're looking for fine dining, Mo's has never been that kind of place. If you want an enjoyable family meal, this will be just fine.
