I'm not a hugly picky person at all.. We got a bottom floor 2 queen Ocean view room. The room was a little small but nice. There were some issues though. There was drywall showing on one wall, the floor sunk down in half the room, but the view was amazing! I was totally willing to overlook everything and love the room for the view alone until we went to bed. I've got to say, this is one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. I think I slept an hour and hubby feels the same way.. As much as I love the views I just cannot come back

The room itself was amazing. Very spacious and has a fire place. Nice big window to sit and watch the ocean. The main thing I did not care for was the bed. It was not comfortable at all. I woke up stiff and sore every morning. Otherwise the staff was great very polite and accommodating. There read fruit and pastries of some kind every morning as well as coffee if you wanted it.

If I had anything constructive to say, it would be that if you're going to have a counter area with coffee amenities perhaps also have a plug in for the coffee maker as well.

Not a bad place to stay at all. The views are amazing!

We have stayed here twice now. Sailor Jack Ocean Front Motel is an older facility. Our latest room had recently been updated and it looked like they were doing more, so that was nice. You can't get a better view of the beach and ocean. The motel sits up on a small bluff, but there are stairs conveniently located on the edge of the property. There is a great space out back with grass and a couple of picnic tables which is a nice place to watch the ocean if you don't want to go on the beach. Although we found it drew people to gather way past reasonable times, which wouldn't have been an issue, had they not been so loud and in their own little world. The staff was very friendly. Wish they would have provided complimentary conditioner as is the norm...although they did provide four shampoos. Lol

This hotel is a bit hidden so a GPS helps. We were early but rooms were ready. The view is spectacular for all rooms but should be noted that there is no outdoor space for any rooms above the first floor. The rooms was large and clean with a small table to sit at by the window as well as a small couch. Only suggestion: the hotel provide an ironing board and iron in each room and a box of tissue.

Room tip: No elevator so luggage must be carried up and no balconies above the first floor.

In over 30 yrs, I never felt cheated by a motel until now! We booked thru TA/Booking.com. With a projected Sunny wknd, we “upgraded” to a room with a deck to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sun/ocean. Awoke the 1st morning to men working on and around our deck, with scaffolding blocking any chance of us using the deck during the daytime. Workmen were simply doing their job, so I went to the Front desk to complain about “paying for an Upgrade I couldn’t use! The owner interrupted and told me, “it’s not our problem, you booked thru Booking.com, so you have to deal with them”. Which I did! As a consumer, I’ll simply never use this place again! Now I need to decide if TA/Bking.com deserve any future business, because I haven’t heard a word from them yet! Oh, as we were leaving, the motel gave us a coupon for $25.00 off our Next stay- like that’s going to ever happen. Buyer/Traveler - BEWARE!
