I'm sitting on the deck looking out on the lake and hills of trees beyond. Listening to a variety of birds and watching a guy fish out on the dock. Rooms are adequate and clean. This place just slows ya down and let's ya think. Management are flexible and down home. Love it!

We found this place by accident but what a gem! We were on our honeymoon trip and were going to travel up the coast a bit more but we loved this place so much we spent our entire 4 day trip here. We plan to move to the area soon we loved it so much there. The room was perfect we had a second floor room and the balcony overlooked the lake it was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff was so nice and everything was relaxing. The restaurant was good, they had a grocery store just across the parking lot and it is close to Coos Bay. We enjoyed our trip and the lodge it was just what we were looking for.

think Super-8 motel, but for twice the price.

for $100+ i expected a bit more. the whole place reeked like smoke, even though it was posted "non smoking"; it smelled like it was baked into the walls or something. the carpet was very stained as well, probably due to being a "pet friendly" motel. the bed was super uncomfortable.

the staff was friendly, though and the room seemed clean. the location was close to the dunes and right next to the marina, so that was convenient.

We had a second floor room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The lake view is pleasant and quiet. The interior is a bit dated and the carpet needs to be replaced. There is a bar and restaurant at the end of the hotel. To check-in there was a sign directing us to see the bartender. There is a large self service laundry, as the hotel also has an RV park. The price seemed a bit high, but it appears to be the only hotel in this small town.

We stayed here three nights and loved it. We were on the first floor and could walk outside to the lake. We were only 10 minutes from the dunes so we could ride all day and come back and relax. Our room 17 was a king sized bed and was perfect. Everything worked, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot was just what we needed. The last night we were there we ate at the restaurant and it was wonderful food. There is a fun little bar there and also across and down the street we played pool and had a couple of drinks. All in all a wonderful time was had.

Room Tip: Bottom floor is best nearest to the restaurant.

price was ok ,room was fine ,the only thing missing was an A/C unit in the room ,i,m one of those people that like/need an A/C or fan running to get a good nights sleep, the white noise sound drowns out all the noises in the night that tend to keep me awake ,, other then missing an A/C unit this place was fine , fridge & micro, 2 beds ,the one i slept on was kinda soft but not to bad ,clean ,parking right in front of room ,not much in the way of services in the local area ,so bring everything you need with ya ,and enjoy the quiet
