“Lovely sushi, tempura and sukiyaki”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

3 ladies thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Very nice sushi selection. Partner said some of the best unagi she had eaten anywhere (including Japan). Wonderful vegetable tempura and sukiyaki. Nice atmosphere. Attentive service. Definitely worth a repeat. They do have a happy hour also.

“good food but a bit over prices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

This is a place to go if you want to impress some one. Food is quite good, the decor is very hip. However, it is really a bit overprices (a glass of coke will cost you $3), especially that there are so many other good places to eat in the same shopping center. A lunch can easily cost you $40 w/o alcohol. The "blue room" at the back will hold up to 10 people, but you need to have patience, because the service is not the fastest. The outdorr area is only open during the short summer months.

“Attentive Service, Delicious Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

The modern yet warm atmosphere is very welcoming. All the severs are friendly and the sushi chefs are awesome. The sushi, teriyaki chicken and drinks were excellent. His place is lots of fun. The sushi plates are large and can be shared. Will be back.

“If only the service was as good as the food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

My husband and I visited Sinju @ Bridgeport Village on a Friday for lunch, WAY AFTER the lunch rush had gone back to work. We always enjoy sitting at the Sushi bar to watch the chefs prepare the plates.

We shared their Super Deluxe Sashimi plate (well worth the expense) and also ordered some seaweed salad. The meal was not only pleasant to look at but also very fresh and tasty. It is a shame that our server had such little enthusiasm in serving us.

Although she asked my husband if he wanted a refill on his beverage, she totally forgot to ask me if I wanted any more green tea. It would have also been nice to get the salad plates removed once we were done with them. It seemed that her thoughts were simply not on her job. So sad!

We will go back but will make sure not to be served by this server again.

“Decent Japanese Restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2012

I am a Japanese food lover. This restaurant served average Japanese food e.g. Shrimp tempura and teriyaki beef. I think there are a couple better Japanese restaurant at the same area. Sushi and Teriyaki house is one of them. Check this out at Exit 290 nearby to Panda Express.
