“A touch of Marseille in Lake O.”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

In a strip mall on Boones Ferry Road but a wonderful atmosphere as you would find in France or Italy. It is primarily a bakery, breakfast lunch spot/ Not open at night unfortunately. A very popular place especially on weekends. The food was excellent with well prepared specialties like duck hash, polenta benedict with crimini mushrooms, etc. Service was very professional and there wasnt anything to dislike including the price.

“I think it could have been better.”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

I met a friend for breakfast and had high hopes although from the other reviews I should have lowered my expectations and gone to the Original Pancake House instead which never dissapoints. The restaurant was very crowded and tables were very close to each other, and it was very noisy. I could hear the conversation at the next table without even trying. That would have been ok, but the meal I ordered, a poached egg type dish with squash and potatoes had cold squash and potatoes. It was not very appetizing. The toast was not toasted much and cold as well. I don't think I will ever go back.

“New location great use of space”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Great healthy food - many vegetables and use of grains in this little bit of France restaurant. The new building brings the outside in and makes you feel like you are outside.

“Fun, Interesting and Variety~”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

I love this restaurant because it's different! There is a couple of highlights however, the consumer should be aware of somethings!
The French Onion soup is a hit and miss item! The first time I had the French onion soup it was AMAZING!!! The 2nd time, uhhhhh what happened and the 3rd time - I mentioned it to the manager and shared my views. Next time french onion soup - pretty boring! So I don't order it there anymore. The staff is a real hit and miss! Some smile, majority don't. The staff is NOT consumer friendly - more attitudes here then I have ever experianced in one restaurant. They don't deliver the food at the same table at the same tiime but when it is delivered it is good! The Tuna Melt was YUMMY and there is LARGE portions for lunch. The Eggs Benedict on a croissant is DELICOUS and so much it could be shared! The front end of the restaurant - Hostess duties is a MESS! Totally disorganized. Alot of attitude and PLAN TO WAIT to get seated on the weekends! In the summer time there is outdoor seating and plenty of room, in the winer time it is very crowded and VERY LOUD! The pastries are amazing, and so are the ladies who work behind the counter! They are sweet, smile and make you feel like they care! Pastry items are spendy, but it's worth it if you are going to splurge $3 to $7 for one pastry is spendy but the desserts are SWEET and beautiful to look at!!! Sharing is a good because the pastries are so sweet! The dinner menu is total fun. Small portions at a reasonable price and it provides the opportunity to "taste" lots of the fanfare! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the BEET Salad. I am a huge beet lover and this salad is DEVINE! The Frites! (french-fries) are YUMMY and all the items are worth tasting. It's a fun place and in time should settle down but they diffinately need to get more organized with their staff and teach them to smile and be genuine!!!

“C'est magnifique”

I went here for breakfast. It was delicious! It seemed everyone around me was enjoying their breakfasts as well. The pastries are a bit of heaven! I found it to be actually quite reasonably priced.
