My wife and I spent two very pleasant nights at Kelty in mid-July. Nicci Stokes has refined the art of B&B-keeper. She is a fount of great information about the local wine scene, which we found extremely helpful. She recommended a number of wineries that we visited and enjoyed; some gave us complimentary tastings at the mere mention of her name! (Before we even got to Kelty on our first day: We were at Four Graces--a wonderful experience, by the way--when we mentioned that we were staying at Kelty, the server essentially said, "Oh, that's Nicci's place--don't worry the fee". It made buying there even more pleasurable.)
We stayed in the Summer Room which, although fairly basic, was very nice--certainly for the price...and Nicci's breakfasts? Legendary. No other way to describe them. We especially loved how she incorporated seafood into her dishes (Dungeness crab for breakfast! Outstanding).
Thanks for a truly great time, Nicci!More
