I have been in this part of Oregon on several occasions over the years. I have driven through LaPine on those trips but have always stayed in Bend: No need for that. This Best western is a fine place to stay.

My reception at this property was very pleasant. The reception area is very smart and clean. The reception staff was quite friendly and certainly knowledgeable of the area.

This is, perhaps, the finest Best Western room I have had (and I have had many). The room was spacious and very nicely appointed. There were two large chairs and a table for two. The room had more than adequate power outlets, all in the right places. The room had a great bathroom presentation and was fully stocked with linens (which indeed is a rarity). The bath towels were considerably larger than those found in most Best Western properties at which I have stayed. Something I have not experienced even in way up market properties: TWO luggage racks. Most Best Westerns have none or only one, if you are lucky. The WiFi service was adequate.

On the down side, of which there was little, there was no place to put the fridge, so it was on the floor:That's a long way down for an old man such as myself. I was not too impressed with the bath amenities, but they were fine.Sadly, the bed slumped to the middle and was much too soft for my back.

If one is planning a trip that includes central Oregon, I certainly recommend a stay at this property in LaPine.

We were going to a funeral in Roseburg and needed accomodations mid way, we had stayed at Newberry Station before and were pleased with the motel. The breakfast was good though the power had gone off and some of the items were cold. The staff was pleasant and the room was very comfortable though short on counter space in the bathroom area. We would stay there again if we find ourselves in the area.

Used meeting room for our wedding. Staff, service, and facility were above reproach. Would definitely reccommend this hotel. The location was easy to find, right on the highway a close to a couple of fast food eating places and a gas station.

We stopped in on our way to Crater Lake. The room is typical of Best Western - clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The free wifi was strong. They have a great free continental breakfast with a waffle maker, scrambled eggs and sausage, and the usual cereals, yogurts, fruit, and sweet pastries - and of course great coffee.
After visiting Crater Lake for the day we decided to come back here instead of driving to Bend.

We checked in late after a long drive and found a sweet smile and cheerful welcome that made the check in more pleasant. We had a problem with our room, so the clerk quickly responded, which made our stay much more pleasant. The newly renovated rooms are excellent.
