“ONLY place to stay in K Falls!!”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

By far and away one of the best, (Best Westerns) I've stayed at! I stay approx 18 times a year at a Best Western and this is The BEST One yet!! Rebecca and John where fantastic at helping with our reservation. Hot soup, clam chouder and vegetable beef with sandwiches (slider style) for an afternoon snack ( I believe around 4:30--6:30pm) BOUNUS!!! Even iced tea and lemon aid !! Made an Arnold Palmer for a side trip!! Sweet!! Hot fresh baked cookies in the evening. The breakfast was as impressive! Standard fare but definently "top notch"! Sausage, biscuits and gravy, bacon, waffles, eggs, all carefully watched over by a trio of very nice attentive staff. Will definently stay again and can't wait to write a review on Trip Advisor!!!

Greetings MtCrego,

Goodness Gracious! Thank YOU, Thank YOU, and Thank YOU again!

Sounds as though you are a seasoned traveler who is also a Best Western Rewards member. To be compared to our peers and come out ahead of the masses is an awesome feeling. We are truly grateful for the review and the chance to provide you with our Olympic Brand of hospitality!

Thank you for mentioning John and Rebecca specifically. We will definitely pass along the compliments and recognize their efforts to provide outstanding customer service!

The Olympic Inn focuses on the details to ensure our guests feel welcome and comfortable. We have learned that weary travelers love ice tea and lemonade to quench ones thirst after a long drive. We know that the aroma of simmering soup tantalize the appetite after a long day. We know how important it is to be greeted with a smile and a desire to serve!

We’ll hold you to your promise to return and stay with us once again. We can’t wait to welcome you back to your new home away from home!

Great room for a very good price. It is downtown with a clean room. Though it is on a busy intersection it is quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our grandson (5 years old) looked at all the taxidermy within the lobby and said "nice dead stuff". Good breakfast, nice soup and sandwiches at night, great place to stay for a very good price. Had a great sleep which is what we were after.

Dear MitchSonora_CA,

Aren’t you a lucky Grandpa! Traveling with your 5 year old Grandson! Aren’t Grandchildren amazing?

Sleep quality is truly what it boils down to isn’t it? You can’t sleep if you aren’t comfortable and safe. You can get comfortable if the hotel isn’t clean or doesn’t offer enough space to stretch out and unpack. The Olympic ensures our guests are safe, comfortable, that everything is white glove clean, and that you have enough room to relax. All equating to a GOOD NIGHT’S REST! The complimentary extras like the our restaurant style hot buffet breakfast, evening soup and salad, and cookies and milk in the evening just add to the experience.

We hope to have yet another opportunity to welcome you and your grandson and provide you with our Olympic brand of hospitality!

Unmatched in personal service by all the staff. Spacious, clean and well decorated rooms with very functional furniture, The lobby and dining room area are very attractive and well finished. The mounted wildlife adds an extra special touch. We stay in 30+ motels a year and this property is hard to beat for the money. The total experience was superb! We will recommend it to friends and we will return!

We stayed here during a trip moseying our way home from Palm Springs. Just a night on the road. We were headed to Crater Lake the next day.

This property is new, very nicely done, lodge like. It is very clean with large comfortable rooms that were quiet. The location is pure suburban shopping center but for a road hotel, who cares?

They had an extensive breakfast and cookies fresh baked for the evening. An open staircase allowed you to wake up to the hint (just a hint) of cooking breakfast in the morning. I liked it!

The staff was very pleasant and looked much more professional than the usual Bestwestern. For under a hundred bucks, AAA rate a total bargain.

A VERY good road hotel.

Dear ZigZagg,

I loved reading your review! I especially liked your description of waking to the hint of breakfast cooking in the morning. One of my favorite things about the Olympic Inn is the quiet clanking of dishes, the smell of sausage, waffles, and coffee, the background noise of lighthearted conversations, and seeing people happily starting their day. Waking at the Olympic Inn, getting ready, and heading downstairs for breakfast is a wonderful experience!

When inside our lodge like hotel, “one” feels as though you are in the wilderness. Once you step outside you realize that the hotel is situated in the busiest part of Klamath Falls. It’s a conundrum of sorts. On one hand you are conveniently located to most of the restaurants and shopping in our small area. On the other hand it is a bit of a shock because we've created this ambiance of being in a wilderness retreat.

Thanks for the kind comments concerning our professional staff, and perceived value. We hope you come back to Klamath Falls soon!

My husband and I stayed here as a half-way point between home and Lake Tahoe. We were very impressed! Cookies and milk were a lovely treat when we checked in late at night...and the breakfast the next morning was very substantial. The room was big and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Not a fan of the stuffed animal heads in the lobby, but that was my only beef. Wonderful stay...and would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: We asked for a higher floor, quiet room and were given one. Slept like babies in our large, comfy b...

We were lucky to visit Crater Lake on our way back from CA to WA. We booked this hotel in Klamath Falls, a place with all facilities.
Very pretty helpfull staff, and a nice suite for a good price. Warm wooden lobby, like the rest of the hotel. The hotel is a Plus building were we felt comfortable.
The smell and taste of coockies at 8 pm, and soup and salad at 5.30 is all included .
Breakfest fresh and a lot of variation.
Internet : fast!
Their are two serieus critical things: the rooms with a mountain view on the South are close to a noisy local Highway . Second: the only suite is perfect ,but situated close to the stairs and elevator. The two windows can better be closed because of a new heater for one window ( noise ) and the front of the hotel entrance is so High that blocks the other window; the suite is the only room without a view on Mt Sasha, over 100 mi to see.
We were the first guests who told it the Staff. Stupid architect or do people never look outsite?

Room Tip: If you re a good sleeper, every room is good. The suite is perfect but not well situated.

Hello 407JanD,

Getting the chance to view the splendor of Crater Lake is indeed a fortuitous event! Did you know that Crater Lake is considered one of the 10 most sacred places on earth? The beautiful water is bluer than the truest blue! The reason for this is the lake is completely fed by precipitation and does not have inlets or tributaries.

The Olympic Inn offers incoming guests a special warm welcome with its lodge like décor. Walls decorated with Knotty Pine, plush leather furniture, wrought iron chandeliers all equate to comfort beyond compare!

We hope for another chance to welcome you! Perhaps you’ll return to see the wonder of Lava Beds National Monument? The Olympic Inn is the perfect base camp for adventurers visiting both of these amazing sites.

This is the best place to stay in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The employees are very friendly and were so accomodating when we got there late and forgot to ask for paper plates from KFC! lol. My husband went down to the lobby and we were treated to warm real plates and cutlery for our dinner! Our room was very nicely appointed and clean. We enjoyed a quiet, comfortable night and we will definitely return to this Inn again.

Greetings SuzyqNorthernCa_

A Million Thanks for sharing your experience at the Olympic Inn with your fellow trip advisor members!

Many guests are surprised by our china plate-ware and stainless cutlery. I love the atmosphere of our breakfast area in the mornings. It truly offers more of a restaurant “feel”. The brewing coffee, the lively conversations, and the smell of savory goodness, all delight the senses to create a true “getaway” experience.

The Olympic Inn is always comfortable, accommodating, clean, and quiet. The cherry on top is our detailed service.

Thanks again SuzyqNorthernCa_!
