Description: Located in the center of Jacksonville, a historic town in Southern Oregon that got its start as part of the gold rush back in the 1850s, stands the Jacksonville Inn. It’s an elegant bed and breakfast housed in a building built in 18961 complete with walls made of locally quarried sandstone (specks of gold are still visible in the mortar). The historic hotel rooms blend distinctive 19th century décor with the necessities of a connected digital age, including a variety of modern comforts and amenities. Whether or not you are staying in the unforgettable rooms, you will love dining in the superb restaurant with its distinctive menu and impressive wine list featuring over 2,000 wines. The restaurant is known for its attention to detail and personal service and has a passion for building connections with its customers. The Jacksonville Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has served three U.S. presidents and has provided lodging for a U. S. president and First Lady.

I had Sunday Brunch here with my family of five (including two young children). While not a buffet, the options were many and the quality of the food excellent. The service was fantastic.

Basically a tasteless over priced old style restaurant. If you loved the 80's here is your place. Why change when when it was a below average place to start. I have gone back every couple of years just to see if it got better. I still have another year and a half to wait.

I gave it a 5 for overall experience. Food is a 3-4, but it's a real special place and I highly recomend it.

Classic old line famous place with great Bistro Menu at better price than restaurant menu. Do the Bistro dinner.

The dinner I had last Saturday was absolutely perfect. The food, service and ambiance was one of the best I have ever experienced.... in the world! Thank you for reserving such a nice table near the fireplace. My daughter Jaymi and her husband Matthew had a wonderful time as well.

I look forward to making the Jacksonville Inn a must-stop during all my future visits to southern Oregon.
