To Whom It May Concern:
Me and my girlfriend were saving for our trip to Oregon for months. We’ve never been. It was important to us that this be the perfect trip, especially important to me! I popped The Question on this trip, She said, “Yes!!!!
My whole world has changed since. Even if our trip to Oregon wasn't perfect,I would still be on Cloud 9, but I’m I’m on Cloud 10!! Nothing went wrong. Every thing went right. Every detail.
Our first stop was at the Riverside Inn in Grants Pass. The front desk lady told us our trip wouldn’t of been complete without a visit to Jacksonville. A “must see” she said. So we strayed from our itinerary on this recomendation. We took the scenic route through the Applegate Valley, tour a few of its sights along the way. The weather, the scenery, picturesque. Amazing. What a recommendation!!!!!!!
We found the motel he told us about with no trouble. The Stage Lodge might be a motel, but it felt like a total resort to us. It’s clean for one (trust me not all motels are)!! The check-in process was fast, and the clerk behind the counter was very very very friendly. The room was just absolutely perfect for our needs a great place to rest in-between all the exploring we did.
Theres so much to see! All close by. Theres museums and great old houses and this historic cemetary, cute cute little restaurants and alot of cool shops. Later we made our way back to the Stage Lodge, and under this really really old Walnut Tree I proposed to the love of my life. It was magic.
This hotel’s a cozy little place, but the rooms are absolutely spacious. We really loved the refrigerater,it kept our champagne cold..
We’re having a May wedding next year. We plan on revisiting Jacksonville and the quaint little Stage Lodge will be our motel. Theres a very friendly manager Claudia who recommended that we catch the performances at the Britt Gardens. Claudia was so informative and she treated us like royalty-even before she knew we were engaged. She highly recomended a restaurant in town at the-I think it was called- McCully House, anyway the restaurant was called The Garden Bistro. Then she gave us a coupon for 10 bucks off! We ate a yummy Saturday lunch on the patio with mushroom flat pizza and toasted our new life together with glasses of wine. PERFECT!!!!!
We totally recomend the Stage lodge. Don’t go there because its the only hotel around. Go there because its T HE BEST!!!!!!!!! They make you feel right at home. The staff and manger are the friendliest I’ve ever seen.
