Although my sister and I only stayed one night (the first stop of a two-week whirlwind trip up through Oregon and Washington) - we were VERY impressed. This lovely old Craftsman three-story bungalow is definitely on a Must-Return list. The home is landscaped with loving attention to detail, as is the interior - completely redone in the traditional Craftsman style. The rooms are unique, quaint and comfortable. We stayed in the Garden Suite - a two-bedroom connected by a large bath with a HUGE shower. Small, but beautiful - and with a lovely view of the garden. Our hosts were charming and the requisite breakfast abundant and delicious. Jacksonville is a small, quaint town full of interesting shops and restaurants and tons of history - be sure to take the self-guided walking tours. and, if you like old graveyards, take a walk (or drive - the hill is long and steep!) up to the historic Jacksonville Cemetery, right behind the B&B.
If you plan a trip to the Britt Festival -- or just a quiet, romantic weekend, you could not do better than this lovely property. It even has a pool and sauna.
