Over all I would give our experience a high 4 out of 10. First the positives. The cabin was very!! clean. It was decorated with 2 very cute chairs and the kitchen table was great. The bedding smelled fresh and the beds were comfy. The view was nice and the entire place was clean.

Now for the not so positive. The whole place is old old old. It is somewhat ran down. The lake had a layer of scum and we were not informed before hand. We were not willing to chance swimming in it, with the threat of blue green algae . The prices are way over the top for what you get. No clean towels for 3!! Days. The stove is 2 burner. No oven. The toaster didn't work. One frying pan. Because of the lake being covered we had to travel to swim etc.
The shopkeeper is either very abrupt or has a very dry since of humor. Either way, not customer friendly. I was told we could check in early and we ended up waiting over an hour. Prices in their store are a complete rip off! 3.50 for a bag of ice, 10 for a burger...
Over all, we won't be back and wouldn't recommend .

We had our family reunion here and it was the perfect place to have a reunion. I would recomend this place for families and groups to just go there and have fun. The Inn keepers Dianna and Scott we very helpfull with making our reunion a success!! The cabins were great and quaint and most af all clean. The lodge and the deck area were perfict to talk, tell stories and eat with our family. Hiking trails, lake, fishing and quiet. And check out Scotts line of lures in the store. We all think we are the best fishermen, but with his lures it might make that happen. Have Fun!! We'll be back!!

This resort is wonderful and the inn keepers are like old freinds. The store Is cozy and a great place to hang out, or order food that is exceptional. The rooms are Just right and what my wife and I needed to complete our memrable mountain/Lake experience! I will be back, and recommend any one who wants to experience a fun, relaxation, and value added from a resort stay here!! The breakfast bufffet was awesome.

We stayed here on a visit to Crater Lake. The cabin had several mouse/rodent holes that had been plugged with aluminum foil. The furnishings were extremely rustic and the mattress was so thin and old it was impossible to sleep on. The grocery store is marginally stocked. There was a lodge by the cabins that appeared to be completely rented out to some sort of organized group comprised of men that loitered outside of the lodge all day and most of the night, smoking cigarettes and staring at the other guests whenever we happened to walk or drive by. They did not appear friendly, in the least. I did not feel it was a safe situation for my family and we checked out early as a result.

Mosquitoes are terrible, but of course the resort owners can't control that! Water pressure to the RV park is very poor. Spaces are not level and trees are too close to the roadways to make turns with large RVs. We were almost wiped out by a rig trying to get in across the street from us. The guy was within a couple inches of hitting our truck. Restrooms are clean but were often out of toilet paper and paper towels (we stayed one week). Lots of junk sitting around and the whole place, other than the store/restaurant, looks in generally poor condition.

We stayed for the weekend, August 19-21. Had a great time. Scott and Dianna were very accomodating. Great tri-tip buffet on Fri. night. Breakfast buffets both Sat. and Sun. were great. Chomper, the dog was really laid back and let my daughter just about lay on him. We will be back.

We stayed here because the location was perfect. After spending a day hiking to waterfalls on the scenic rd 138 between Roseburg and Crater Lake, this was one of only a few choices in the area. Conclusion: we should have chosen something else (maybe Diamond Lake?). This place was rustic to the point of being a dump. Plywood walls, falling apart hazardous stairs, cheapest everything. The "cafe" had only deep fried food with nothing fresh and prices weren't that cheap for the quality (or lack thereof). I would not recommend this place
