This restaurant is the best in Hood River. Chef Ben Stenn is passionate about his food and about supporting the local economy. He uses fresh, local, in-season and sustainable products. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very romantic. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We always feel like we have arrived at a good friends home when we go there. You can wear a dress and heels or your ski pants and boots and feel at home. The cocktail and wine menu are superb, and my favorite drink "Sweet Cheeks" should not be passed up by those who enjoy something a little spicy. We truly enjoy the home made "Lavash" crackers and yummy desserts. This is the place we bring all of our out of town guests. Celilo Restaurant & Bar would fit in anywhere in LA or New York.
