It is well worth the drive up a gravel road, with a detour, to reach this beautiful house set in the woods. We had made a last minute reservation. There were already two large parties seated. We were shown to a table on a side porch overlooking the beautiful gardens. Drinks and salads were served quickly, but we then had a 45 minute wait for our entrees. I judge a restaurant by whether they keep my water glass filled, which they did, and whether, if they serve my favorite entree, rack of lamb, they serve mint jelly. They did. When the food eventually appeared it was delicious. My husband's lemon chicken looked good. The accompanying roasted asparagus and carrots were tasty. Garlic mashed potatoes completed the dish. All the staff were super friendly but be prepared to have a leisurely dinner if there are large parties. It is obviously a very popular venue for weddings and I cannot imagine a more perfect setting.
