I had lunch here on a Wednesday so it was fairly quiet.
BEER: Fantastic. I had an IPA on this trip and had the Belgian Dark Strong Ale at another restaurant. Both were well balanced and very good. My brother-in-law really enjoyed his beer, a Pilsner I think.
FOOD: Pretty awesome for bar food. My wife and I split the burger and the pulled pork bahn mi sandwich (minus the chicken liver mousse). The burger and fries was top notch. Nicely seasoned and cooked correctly. The bahn mi was panini style and the pork shined and the freshness of the "slaw" on it was a nice counter to cut the richness. Others in my group had the same items and another had the homemade bratwurst, which was good but needed the mustard on the table to cut it.
AMBIENCE: Loved that the brewing equipment was right there in the dining room. They also had a kiddo area with some toys, which kept my toddler entertained during the meal.
VIEW: The view was great as it is located pretty much on the Columbia River with only a park/beach area separating the restaurant from the water.
Overall, highly recommended. Drive to Muthotmah Falls, lunch here and hit up the Bonneville Dam on the way back and you have a nice day trip from the Portland area.
