I had a group of 22 people that thoroughly enjoyed the nice scenery, good food that was prepared and served on the train, and employee's that kept each and everyone's needs very well taken care of.
I would recommend pre-ordering your lunches, because there are limited restaurant services in the small town of Parkdale and there are usually lines, especially if the train is fairly full.
For older citizens that have trouble climbing stairs, there is a lift provided to accommodate those who require assistance.
On a perfectly clear day, there are views of both Mount Adams in Washington and Mount Hood in Oregon during the ride to Parkdale. FANTASTIC!!!
Highly recommend going. This was my 4th train ride.
