“Nice find”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

We rolled in to Hood River early in the afternoon hungry and looking for a lunch spot. We stumbled upon Full Sail and decided just to eat there rather than keep searching. We were so glad that we did and poured out recommendations to others after leaving there. The food was wonderful. I had the salmon fish and chips and it was fantastic. My husband also had fish and said it was some of the best that he had ever eaten. He also tried the beer sampler. The atmosphere is wonderful, and it has views of the river. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal.

“lunch with kids”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

We stopped at Full Sail for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with kids. The location is a tasting room/restaurant. The menu was typical pub fare with many items prepared with different brews they make on site. We had wings, beer cheese soup, veg burger and fish & chips. The beer cheese soup was fantastic. Not the cloyingly thickened stuff, just nice flavor and consistency with a little pep to it. The salad was nice with pears poached in bear, nice and light. All servings were pretty big, so order accordingly. Wait staff was nice. Fun place to stop for lunch. We'll be back. The view was fantastic!

“Nice.”
Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

Artichoke appetizer was fabulous. Sampler tray wonderful and beer floats.... Yumm. My only complaint was even though there was a lot of presense of the wait staff ours didn't make eye contact so it was really hard to get his attention.

“Strange encounter at a nice place”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Not a place for young children!
We were having a great time enjoying this wonderful place to sit back and relax with other middle age friends enjoying the beer sampler offered. Until an obnoxious young man with major anger issues who was sitting behind us rudely came to our table and starting yelling loudly and creating a scene and even theatened to throw one of us through the window! We were shocked by this behavior. With this young fellow acting so ridicules we thought it was staged! It occurred he had a young child with him and our table must have been using some adult language. Ok, a table of four adults talking amongst themselves at a bar, seriously? The scene he put on for his young child in front of everyone at a bar will hold a good impression on the child. Thankfully this guy left and the friendly staff was very apologetic for the scene and embarrassment, hopefully this person learns to take his child to Chuck E Cheese instead of adult establishments.

“Good for lunch”
Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

Tip: good for lunch.
Pros: simple food, generous portions, fast service, good value for money, convenient location and great views.

We had burgers. The meat was tender, tasty and very juicy - I would prefer something with less cheese/sauces.
