I haven't felt so cared for since....I can't remember! I agree with everything said before about the hosts, grounds and view. I'd like to add the cooking was unbelievable - homemade everything: breakfast burritos (with fresh eggs from their chickens), pumpkin scones, sweet potato waffles. We stayed in the cottage and loved the additional privacy and ability to make our own meals (although we only did that once!). Linda and Joe are beyond gracious. Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: They didn't have a swimming pool but did have a jacuzzi!

This was our first experience at a B&B and in the town of Hood River. Linda and Joe were great hosts and communicated closely with us on arrival times and even provided us with great suggestions for dinner in the quaint downtown.

We took a scenic drive to Hood River after flying into Seattle. Seven Oaks was flexible with our check-in time and incredibly easy to get to (we had GPS). Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly welcomed by Joe, who gave us great recommendations for what to do around the area the next day.

We stayed in The Cottage which was the private accommodation located across the yard from the main house. It's a cozy space that includes a kitchenette, private bath and small patio. On the small table, there was also the most decadent, chocolate (fudge, ganache, heavenly, damn good!) cake which was a great pick-me-up after our drive and a sign of the good things to come.

The following morning we met our wonderful host, Linda. She prepared us the best vegetarian breakfast burritos we've ever had, which included fresh eggs from the chickens she raises. Alongside the burritos we had homemade guacamole and fruit. To top breakfast off, Linda came out with fresh-out-of-the-oven-melt-in-your-mouth pumpkin & blueberry scones!

We chatted through our breakfast with Linda, who was again, wonderful. The main house was beautifully furnished and simple, and I don't think you could go wrong with staying in any of the rooms. We would return in a second and wish we had never left. Linda and Joe made every bit of the experience memorable and we would highly recommend staying at Seven Oaks to anyone!

This was a remarkable experience, I stayed in the main house, breathtaking Veiw of Mt Hood. You immediately feel at home, Linda was a charming host and wonderful cook. It took me back to simpler times when conversation was stimulating, and walks along the grounds were refreshing? I can't wait to return and stay longer and try the cottage this time. I strongly recommend you have Linda's breakfast burritos. "Fabulous"

This was our first stay, but I know we'll be back. We chose Seven Oaks because when I contacted them to find out if they could accommodate vegans their response was "We love vegans!" And oh boy, do they! Our breakfasts were fantastic! Breakfast burritos with all the fixings one day; the next day we had sweet potato-pecan pancakes that tasted like pumpkin pie.

We stayed in the cottage, which was nice and secluded from the rest of the house, with its own little nook in the backyard with comfy lounge chairs, as well as a bistro table set on the small patio. It has air conditioning, which came in handy during August! There was a large garden, with quail visiting while we were there. They're located near an industrial-type area, but that wasn't a problem during our stay.

Room Tip: The cottage is nice and private.

Amazing stay. We love the charm of this craftsman-style home. Beautifully updated, very simple and keeping with the era of the home. Beds are amazingly comfortable, and lots of nice touches for a more comfortable stay. Linda is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. Both she and Joe were so welcoming and friendly (not to mention they are excellent cooks!). Can't wait to visit again!

Great older house beautifully updated with old fashioned simplicity. Super quiet with very nice views of Mt Hood. The grounds are peaceful with a nice garden and a great porch perfect for enjoying a nice glass of wine Linda was a great hostess and made a wonderful breakfast.

I have had multiple bed and breakfast experiences in this country and elsewhere, but I'm sure I have never enjoyed one any more than the three nights I spent at Seven Oaks B & B in Hood River, Oregon.

The house itself truly feels like a home from the past, graced with lovely vintage items and immaculately maintained. The owner/manager is Linda, a delightful, bright, extremely interesting and funny woman who cooks a MEAN breakfast that will last you all day! The food was terrific and the presentation first class.

This secluded spot of heaven almost exists in a vacuum. It is surrounded by some industrial properties but hidden away behind wonderful trees (seven oak trees, of course, plus others) and the only sounds I heard were some birds and the water sprinklers keeping the lush vegetable and flower gardens damp. And I can't neglect to mention the drop-dead view of Mt. Hood from the bedroom window.

I agree with the reviews...I would never stay anywhere else if we return to Hood River and I might suggest that that would be your feeling, too, if you booked this charming place!
