Owner description: The WAAAM Air & Auto Museum has one of the largest collections of still-flying antique aeroplanes and still-driving antique automobiles in the country. The items on display at this museum are not only full of history, they're full of LIFE! Enjoy over two acres of indoor exhibit space.

Our car club spent only two hours here, we could have spent two days! A nice presentation of classic transportation of a bygone era. Some of these vehicles get operated on second Saturday. Not a place for younger kids or pets. But if you are fascinated with beautiful cars, motorcycles or airplanes this is the place! They also host car and airplane events. Bring your walking shoes and stroll while you experience time travel.

Thank you for reviewing. Our average visit runs about 2 to 3 hours for folks to feel like they were able to experience the breadth of the museum. Tickets are good all day long so visitors can come early in the morning, take a break during the day, and then come back in the afternoon to finish up their viewing.

Great for anyone interested in aviation or antique cars. This is an amazing collection stored in some very large hangars. Well documented, with frequent small stops for videos, some of which feature the very airplanes sitting next to the video. Many volunteers zipping around on scooters and available to answer any question you might have. Collection includes the oldest flying Boeing airplane, a treat for the two members of our party who work there. Everything indoors, so a great place to visit on a very hot day, or on a cold rainy one. Definitely worth the visit.

Thank you for the review. As you mentioned, with our 3.5 acres of displays space being entirely indoors, WAAAM is a great way to take a break from the great out doors - rain, shine, snow, whatever - we'll be open for visitors.

Read about this in a small brochure. What a surprise! It was a wonderful learning experience. I would love to be able to come on 2nd Saturday to see the workshop and maybe ride in a car. I know how. much it takes to restore and operate old cars and they have so many that are working. Another great pleasure was talking to the docents who would appear and discuss different aspects of the planes and auto. If you enjoy old planes and cars, please go by this. Museum

Thank you for reviewing. Seeing behind the scenes of how we keep things flying and driving is always a treat during our Second Saturday events. That being said, there are a few in-progress things on the display floor to give visitors who do not visit on these days an idea of what goes on in our restoration shops too.

WAAAM will blow you away. Whatever expectations you may have will be blown away as soon as you walk through the doors at this incredible location. WAAAM is brilliantly filled to the brim with history and memories. Wheels or wings as your passion the jaw dropping collection is yours to explore. Plan some time to take in all there is to see. Any questions, the staff and volunteers are eager to share thier knowledge and passion for this wonderful museum and it’s collections. Don’t miss the fun “town walls” it’s one of my favorite parts.

We never get tired of going through this wonderful museum. Such meticulous airplanes, autos and much more. Lots of volunteers to help answer questions. History after history lessons in this place. Take your time and ask the volunteers to help with information.

Thank you for reviewing. Our volunteers love giving out information but for those that are a bit too shy to ask a lot of fun stories and information can also be found on our website under the collections tab as well.
