Juts an OK Sushi and a bit overpriced - in a very nice setting.
Welcoming atmosphere and good service - large menu - but the Sushi was not inspiring.

Had wonderful lunch here today (June 11, 2013). Nice low-key isakaya atmosphere. Some beautiful wooden tables. Nice pictures of Hillsboro as it was a century or so ago. Efficient and friendly service. Good food value. We had the lunch special and sushi lunch. Both included very good tempura (oil and batter very light and fresh). Sushi in nice bite-size chunks with beauticul fish. Fresh salad with good dressing and a bit of fruit. Great for not quite $13. Staff very nice when we got a little fussy about where we wanted to sit. Some of the tables have incredibly beautiful natural wood tops. Music in background was pleasantly eclectic -- Japanese, flamingo, pop.

Although we ate there several years ago we found the menu very unique. The sushi bar had the normal items, but the entrees were different. I had what was called a Princess Bowl, if I recall correctly, and it was unlike anything I had eaten before. Delicious.

This place offers the best sushi I have ever tried. The seafoods are imported fresh from Japan daily. If you go there for lunch, they offer lunch menu which is not expensive at all. The lunch includes a miso soup and a bow of green salad. The salad dressing is amazing. If you go there for dinner, it's a little spendy but well worth it. They offer a wide selection of sushi/sashimi and also a lots of Japanese not-raw-dish. (This is important as my husband who doesn't eat raw fish still can accompany me - a sushi lover- and enjoy the great food there). I have introduced this place to so many of people and the locals have become the regular there and the out of town friends make that place a MUST- stop when they have a chance to head this direction.
