Stayed one night - nice enough hotel, clean and offered everything you'd expect but watch out for the service. Front desk was far from welcoming on check-in and I think we may have been infringing on their time, go figure. We requested a rollaway in our room and one was in our room waiting which was great but there wasn't a pillow to go with it, went to the desk to request one and apparently there wasn't one extra pillow in the entire hotel. The clerk at the desk could tell this without even moving from her position. Amazing! If we have an opportunity to stay in Hillsboro again we will definately pick another hotel which is too bad because otherwise it was fine. Company problem rather than a facility problem.

Room was clean, location convenient, quiet place. Friendly welcome.
No elevator to go to 2nd floor but not really a problem in my case.

Room was clean, beds comfortable. Pillows really uncomfortable. Friendly desk clerks & helpful.
We were awakened at 1 am by some loud guys in the hallway across from us talking in front of our door. 2nd floor very stuffy & warm in the room, recommend a first floor room. Affordable.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the lobby floor.

We stayed here 3 nights recently and were a bit disappointed in the general character of the hotel. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast fare, but they ran out of some stuff by 8 a.m. one day, a full hour before closing and were very flippant about it. Too bad for us. Also, the restaurant on the property is closed and there are no other places to eat near the hotel. We had ants in our room and the beds were very uncomfortable. There was a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot in the room, which was helpful, and the coffee in the lobby was good and always available. The people at the front desk were pleasant. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

I've been working about 20 miles form here in Tualitin & staying at the CI over there. The place is brand new and really takes pride in their service and the way they handle people, and it's $20 less/ night. Imagine my disappointment when I checked in here. This place is a dump, not been renovated for many, many years. Tonight I went to work out and the fitness room door had been taken off, exposing an exterior door, which leaked profusely, & the place was like 37*, without a way to alter it. The "hot tub" is more like a "luke warm" tub, because it's trying to fight it's way thru the frigid elements. When I inquired at the front desk about it she was surprised that there was no door in the blow-hole. What? Did someone sneak off with the door???? My room door interior looks like there was a MMA match taking place here. This morning's coffee in the lobby was about as hot as the spa. Very disappointing! : >( Airport side is noisy!

Room Tip: that would be in Tualitin!

We were at the Comfort Inn, looking for a birthday party event for our son, in December. After seeing the place and talking to the person incharge their we considered the place to be. We had few communications with the incharge regarding the rental and the date. Though everything was only the words of trust and not writing, the incharge refused to the price he had previously mentioned and unreasonably increased the rent. We had started ordering the decorations considering the place, now I dont understand what to do with the decorations which are over 500 dollars. These guys dont stick to the words they say, and its impossible to trust them until unless everything is in writing. We will never trust on this so called COMFORT INN. Its a big diappointment.

With regards to the review "Can't trust the words" let's look at all the facts. The original party was to be in the afternoon for only 2 to 3 hours. The number of attendees to be less than 30 people. The dining room main floor was to be the loction. After a second communication with proposed renter, they changed the plans without consulting the property. The proposed renters changed the time of the party to 8 hours, number of attendees to 50+ people & use of the both levels of the dining room. ( Not authorized ) Based on these unauthorized changes, the rental price was increased to $500. With all the facts presented, Comfort Inn ""Could not trust the words"" of the proposed renters.

We stayed for the Oregon International Airshow (http://www.oregonairshow.com/) held across the street at HIO (Hillsboro airport). The location is fantastic for the purpose of the airshow.

As a motel, this establishment is average, or slightly below. No amenities to speak of -- the sole item in the room was soap. Facilities include an outdoor pool warmed by the sun, an indoor hottub that needs its water changed, and a tiny but usable gym.

Breakfast is nice for a motel. Warm dishes include bacon, scrambled eggs, make-your-own waffles, and toast. Cold dishes include cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit.

There is a conference room that I've been to several times on different occasions. Don't use this facility if you want to impress your clients or audience. It's okay for a club meeting.

An Albertson's supermarket, several restaurants, and a MAX lightrail station are within walking distance of the motel.

Our favorite is a frog statue carved out of a tree stump in the parking lot. The frog gazes skyward and aircraft pass over him as they take off and land.
