“Excellent stopover choice.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2009

Stayed one night in a large comfortable double queen room. The beds were good and the staff extremely friendly. There was no "view" and we didn't go out so can't comment about the area. A nice light supper was included with meatballs, salad and 2 beverages each (good beer, wine or soda). The pool and hottub were very nice as well. The breakfast was also very good with a selection of healthy choices.

This was our second time staying here the first time was about a year ago.

The first thing we noticed was how pretty the lobby was. The next thing was how nice the front desk staff was. During our two days there they were also very helpful with any questions we had. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good too. We used the pool during our stay as well as the hot tub on both days. We also used their business center, or at least tried, the computer was a little old and it would not let us get online for more than a minute, and they did not let you use the printer.

The only thing that you should watch out for is where your room is located... the room we had the first time was perfect because it was on an upper floor and in the middle of the building. But this time it was on the first floor really close to the lobby, so each morning we were woken up by everyone heading down the lobby to breakfast... and it wasnt that you could just go back to sleep, it was loud up until breakfast is over! I was supprised how thin the walls were! So we of course just woke up and had breakfast with all of our un wanted alarmclocks. But it was a nice little set up! it put us in a better mood for sure!

We will be back again!

The room was nicely furnished and came with all the amenities we look for in a motel. Our spacious room had a king sized bed, microwave and refrigerator plus a couch and desk with Internet access. Surprisingly, there is a complimentary dinner which included a very fresh salad and chicken plus your choice of beer, wine or soft drinks the night we stayed. A complimentary full breakfast in available in the morning. It is an excellent value for the money. Highly recommended!

Stayed here twice, going and returning from a trip to the coast, and would do so again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the food and drinks provided free in the evening and at breakfast. Two glasses of wine or beer *each* plus some hot chicken wings and dessert meant we didn't have to go out for dinner - never had this service anywhere else we have stayed :-)

Room and bed was comfortable, too, and reasonably priced.

Hermiston itself isn't an attractive town but this is a most convenient stop on a long trip.

The room was excelent. We had a 2 king suite, and it was spacious and nice. The beds were a bit hard, and the hallway smelled of body odor. Other than that the hotel was clean and had wonderful breakfast and free snacks and drinks in the evening.

Hermiston is a small town. The Oxford Suites is the nicest place available. It is very simple. The room was clean. Don't expect fancy sheets and bedding. They serve snacks at night and breakfast in the morning. I would stay there again if I had to stay in Hermiston. The front desk staff was very friendly.

There are 2 parts to the Oxford Suites. The older part smells musty and smokey. We were in the northern wing, which is newer and had a complimentary upgrade to a family suite with 2 separate rooms. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the new wing. It is also adjacent to a Dairy Queen, so we walked over to get burgers and brought them back to the room. Our family had a nice room, and would reccomend this, just so long as you get a room in the newer wing.

Unfortunately we have individuals that smoke in nonsmoking rooms, causing an inconvience and hardship to other guests. We try very hard to keep a handle on this, but we are unable to catch all that break the rules. In addition we are currently remodeling out main building and replacing all the carpet in the hallways, hopefully this will not only give us a fresh new look, but a fresh new smell as well. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
