“Very good”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

It can be hit and miss, 2 of 3 times have been very good and the other time was beyond horrible. The food is great and the service is good when they are on their game. It's a hard restaurant to carry on a conversation in, when you are in a group but the atmosphere is actually very fun.

“High on Value, Low on flavor”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

We love the restaurant for their prime rib. We order the large prime rib, that comes with an oversized sweet potato, and divide it between us. It is more than we can eat as the portions are so large, so the meal is high on value. The disappointment was the prime rib lacked flavor, though cooked to medium as we liked and very tender for the main portion. Don't know if something can change in the kitchen or if they need to cut the portion and find more expensive beef with better flavor. This may occur on other items as the restaurant was half full, yet next door they were waiting in line. Hate to see one of our favorite restaurants fall out of favor due to flavor issues.

“The service was the cherry on top”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

The food was good, the prices reasonable, and the sports on the screens entertaining...but our server Michele was awesome! She was bartending and working tables and did a great job. I could tell she had regulars too because she made a point to make it personable for each customer.

“Way Overrated”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

We were on our family vacation to the Left Coast and stayed in Portland. We looked on Trip Advisor for a good rating for somewhere to eat and found this place. Peanuts on the floor, family atmosphere. I had to beg the waitress for a straw for my drink before the food came. When it arrived my daughter's steak was blood rare in the middle and she'd ordered it well done. All of the steak fries were 'limp' and under cooked and I only got down a few. I had a chicken sandwich that was grilled and it was so tough I could only eat half of it. When we complained to the waitress about the steak being way under cooked he kind of glared at us like we were crazy.
Face it folks, the Trip Advisor rating seems to be a tad high and we were not satisfied one bit and they never made it right with us. The manager was kind of an Asian looking fellow and left us feeling like we'd had one of the worst dining experiences of our trip.
Avoid they hype, look for another place to dine while in Gresham (Portland).

“Best Bar-B-Que, bar none!”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

Fabulous bar-b-que. Fair prices. Free peanuts in shell. Eat them and toss the shells on the floor. Large portions. Mouth watering food.
