This turned out to be one of the high points of our trip to Oregon. Great location on the Rogue River across from a quiet city park. Quiet path to the Rogue River Hellboat docks and office the precluded the need for another car trip to get to either. Front desk staff was great and very helpful. Room was immaculate. Breakfast was much better than most and the breakfast room attendent was extremley helpful. Only downside was lack of elevator to second floor.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The people here made our stay a nice vacation for everyone. Comfy bed, yummy cookies, good wine, and wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended.

A wonderful find. Big rooms, comfortable pillows. Incredibly kind staff. Best part was coming in from a hard day's travelng and finding wine and cheese waiting for you in a very warm lobby atmosphere. Follwed up by cookies at 9pm. Breakfast was much better than average hotel breakfast--served ia very friendly environmnet with your own baker. Stayed one night and then returned for a two night stay after a two day trip to northern Oregon. Recommend stay in a room that is a little bit away rorm the street. Our "standard" room was perfect.

What a magnificient stay we had. We didn't know what to expect and our expectations were exceded again and again. We were there for our anniversary and everything was so clean, friendly and just absolutesly beautiful. Our only regret...........we could only get in for one night....Boo! Hoo! Next time we will book earlier and stay longer.

We arrived expecting a lodge. This is actually an older hotel with a giant face lift. New doors and windows give the appearance of a quality hotel. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms have been updated. The hotel is on the river so you have a river park view. However, the restaurant next door has a bar with a live band that played LOUD until 11 PM on a Tuesday and the noise travels on the water like they are right next to you.If this hotel was priced at under $100 it would have been fine for the money but we paid over twice that.

Stayed here while visiting family. Nice spot with helpful friendly staff. More than decent breakfast included, run by the capable and energetic Ms. Betsworth (she makes some delish waffles much to my hubby's pleasure). Sits a short walk from downtown (cute shops, coffee, etc.) and is literally "on the Rogue river." Our room was quiet at night/morning inspite of the close proximity to the main avenue through town.

What a perfect spot! We had a huge room with a view over the pool and the river. The bed was really comfortable. The room was spotless, and well decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The massive breakfast, which was included in the cost, was fresh and delicious!! We were on a driving trip from Portland, Oregon to Sonoma Valley....this was a very convenient stopping place. We are glad we found "The Lodge at Riverside". We could see and hear the traffic coming over the bridge into the town, when we sat on our balcony, but it was not distracting at all. We would highly recommend this place to one and all!
