“Stopover on way to Portland”

If you want a nice experience stay at this place. The staff was excellent and so helpful with dinner suggestions and things to do in the area. We were checked in by Crystal, who was delightful and made us feel so welcome. Our cottage was very spacious and felt like a little home as it had its own little backyard with lawn furniture. Internet was quick and no problem. Breakfast was very nice with friendly staff. It is only a short walk to old town to go to dinner. All in all a very good experience.

My family and I stayed here one night on our way through Oregon. Once we checked in, I began wishing that we had planned an extra day. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk people were very friendly. In the morning, the people handling the breakfast were really fun and made other recommendations to us. Quiet, and a great value.

I have never had better service or more smiles from staff than you get at The Lodge at Riverside in Grants Pass, OR. The staff is greeting you before you even get into the lobby. They help you with anything you need and they do it with a real smile, not a forced grin. Talk about a breath of fresh air, Tamara and her staff like Chrystal can not do enough for you. They even check on you to make sure everything is the way you would like it, puts a whole new slant on service with a smile. Our group stays at this hotel for a large Corvette weekend event every other year. I book hotels for our club about ten times a year for the last ten years. I can tell you there is not another operations manager like Tamara on this earth. I have worked with her booking this fantastic Lodge many times over the last ten years and I can tell you from first hand dealings she cares about her clients and her staff are beyond belief. I find myself trying to
find ways to get our trips set in a way to come through Grants Pass just so we can stay at The Lodge at Riverside. If any of you ever get a chance to spend a night in Grants Pass, stay at the Lodge at Riverside, it just can't get any better than that I promise you.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms have the best view of the River. You just cant go wrong at the Lodge. End of story.

We have stayed at the Lodge at Riverside in Grants Pass, Oregon for the past 3 years as we travel from Vancouver, BC to Los Angeles, CA. This hotel has great beds, large rooms, are clean, comfortable and have very friendly staff.

There is a great view of the Rogue River from the rooms and makes for a relaxing time sitting on the deck and watching the river traffic. There is a good complimentary breakfast included with your stay and there is a great restaurant connected to the property (Taprock Northwest Grill) that has really good pub food.

We stayed at the Lodge at Riverside on a trip to CA. I had requested a suite since we were driving with another couple and wanted a deck overlooking the river, away from the bridge. To my surprise, our room was the closest to the bridge, a bit of a dismay, although we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it became later when it came time to sleep (it was a Sunday night). The bed was comfortable and the windows opened with a screen so we could enjoy the fresh air. The deck was large enough to entertain and we enjoyed the view below as the river tour boats returned.
Breakfast in the morning doesn't begin until 7:30 and was full of families eager to hit the road. It was a lovely breakfast with the addition of eggs, scones, waffles etc. Definitely a cut above the normal hotel breakfast. Also enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a long day's drive. Would recommend!

Room Tip: Pay a little more and get a suite to enjoy a secluded deck with a view over the river. If you are s...

Thank you so much for your review and recommendation! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your room. It is close to the bridge but as you mentioned, traffic slows in the evening and most guests are not affected by the noise, even with the window open. Please remember us next time you find yourself in the southern Oregon area. The staff at The Lodge at Riverside

Thank you for staying with us while visiting your family in Grants Pass. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The lights in the room are energy efficient and do take a moment to “warm up” and get brighter, we regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. We can’t wait to see you next time you visit your daughter and her family, hope it’s soon. The staff at The Lodge at Riverside

We stayed at the Riverside inn while helping mother move. The staff was friendly and outgoing, providing anything we asked for quickly. For example we needed two extra chairs on our patio and they appeared in less than 5 minutes! The room was wonderful, cool, sheets soft, very clean. A tad small but very adequate. Wonderful view of the river and the riverside park across the water. Our only disappointment was the breakfast which was heavy on carbs and had very little protein available. But it was good, just didn't stay with us long. Coffee all day, cookies at night, wine sips in the evening with snacks. Very nice stay. We will return.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a ground floor room for a nice patio. The junior king room at 114 was a bit remo...

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We were happy to provide you with the extra chairs for your visitors. The room you were in is one of our smaller rooms, however as you noted, very comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to let others know about your stay. See you soon.
