Loved the Lodge in Grants Pass. Very warm and inviting with nicely appointed rooms. The breakfast offered free each morning was a great way to start the day; everything was fresh.

Room Tip: Ask for a room further from the busy highway.

My husband and I stumbled upon this hotel after we had been driving all day and what a great find! The staff were extremely courteous and even gave us a discount on our room because their computer was down when they were trying to book our room and we had to wait! The room was HUGE and the furniture was charming. We stayed in a King room without river view and it was quite comfortable. They had Aveda bath products and spa robes, which were a nice touch. They had a hot continental breakfast the next morning and great service with that too.

Room Tip: We got a great rate by walking in and asking.

I was there for a short trip to get tattooed by a local artist. He recommended the Lodge at Riverside. I was extremely pleased with EVERYTHING! The hotel itself is so cool and rustic looking. My room was also incredible. It faced the river which was beautiful to wake up to that view. It was very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable.
Now, about the staff... they were all so incredible. Every night they would come by my room when I got home and bring me a menu of food to order for breakfast the next morning which they would hand deliver in a basket to my room at whatever time I chose.
Great Place! I would absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone!!!

During a recent trip to Southern Oregon, we had the chance to stay at a number of different hotels and were fortunate enough to discover the Lodge at Riverside. Situated right on the Rogue River, our room had a nice deck overlooking the pool and river. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We had one of the suites, which was a great oversized room with a nice king bed, and lots of neat little decorative touches to make your stay more relaxing.

The staff at this hotel was awesome! Possibly some of the nicest and most helpful of any hotel we have ever stayed at and we travel a lot. There was a free complementary glass of wine in the lobby area, which was quaintly decorated in Northwest Lodge style, complete with a stone fireplace and mounted elk head. There was a continental breakfast included which was also better than average.

The outside of this hotel might fool you a bit. It's clearly an older hotel recently rennovated. But the remodeling turned the inside into a great space for us on our trip.

I am a frequent visitor to the Southern Oregon area. As with many people in my position, I don’t enjoy the usual motel/hotel rooms. It’s hard enough to be away from your family and home without adding insult by staying in the cookie cutter design of what corporate America sees as acceptable overnight accommodations.

The Lodge at Riverside during the winter offers a fresh experience when you enter the lobby. In true “Lodge Style” the Log cabin building houses an oversized fireplace that the staff keeps stoked with real firewood and the smell that goes with it. The staff are very friendly and show real interest in making sure that your stay is positive.

The rooms, not to be outdone by the lobby, offer log style furniture and a comfortable atmosphere good for both the business and personal traveler. Beds are very comfortable, along with several amenities such as a place for work, fridge etc. The bathroom fixtures were the only setback as they were never replaced when the Lodge was remodeled. Breakfast was also a nice touch being different from the usual complimentary meals you would expect from regular motels.

With views of the Rouge river, and close by restaurants that tempt the most sophisticated taste buds, it’s no surprise that I keep coming back.

Spacious, warm, well-kept rooms, very clean. Friendly staff. Complimentary glass of wine, cookies in the evenings. Will be coming back. Great location next to Tap Rock Restaurant, which is just across the street and accessible via a pedestrian-safe bridge. Centrally located. Had a business meeting here over the course of a week and it was a very nice place to stay and far superior to other hotels I have stayed at in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view.

We arrived at the hotel and went in the lodge to check in, Amanda was attempting to assist another guest. Although this particular woman would not ever be pleased Amanda handled the situation wonderfully. She was Polite extremely helpful and accommodating and had the best sense of humor my sisters and I have seen in a long time, She remembered our names, why we were in Grants Pass and handled all of our needs like a pro, Brian ( I believe his name was ) was also wonderful he also knew why we were there and made sure our every need was met and then some.. we were so comfortable at the lodge that we spent the evening after our event in the lobby drinking our wine and sitting by the fire. I don't know how you you managed to get so luckty with your ENTIRE staff not just the two whos name i remembered ( long week of travel) from front desk to the sweetest lady who tidied our room you hit the Jackpot. I cannot wait to revisit.. Hope to see you again in the next few months.. Thanks again
