The Wild River Public House is a mixture of nice restaurant, brew-pub, and sports bar.
The interior is fresh and clean (no musty old cigarette smell found in many pubs) with a Southern Oregon rustic river motif - fishing rod lamp holders, river rock, natural wood tables with timber rafters.
The menu is somewhat varied. They have some wonderful starters that include smoked brie and salmon. The restaurant has great salads for those folks who care for lighter fare. You can add a number of smoked or grilled meats to those salads as well. They serve a couple of pasta dishes which also can come with chicken or beef. Usually there are a couple of red meat offerings and a salmon dish. The signature wood fired pizzas come with anything and everything. Finally if you just want pub food, they have that as well. I love their hamburgers.
It is a brew pub meaning they have their own line of beers. Usually they will have between 3 and 5 of their own beers on tap. They serve a number of other domestic and foreign beers. There is also a full bar for those that want something a little harder. The wine offerings are a bit limited but adequate.
I love going to the public house to watch a "big game" or just to have a nice relaxed dinner. They have televisions situated about the restaurant without turning it into a total sports bar or otherwise detracting from the atmosphere.
It should also be noted that they have a large back room which is great for special occassions.
