The best place we visited, food was amazing and the brewed tap beer was great. Loved that you could buy the beer you liked, cant wait to go again.

We ready for dinner while traveling through Cave Junction one Sunday evening. We thought we were out of luck for finding a place to eat but spotted the Wild River Pizza place just as we were leaving Cave Junction. It turned out to be a great place to eat. My husband ordered the large fish and chips, I ordered the small fish and chips, and a small pizza. The fish was surprisingly good, nice large pieces of flaky meat. The serving of fries was a little too large and neither of us could eat them all. We ended up taking the pizza home for another meal.

We loved the pizza! The crust was an excellent fire grilled thin crust and it wasn't not overloaded with sauce, you could really taste the fresh ingredients.

The pizza was pretty good. We especially liked the fire-baked oven crust. The service was excellent. The menu had lots of choices. We aren't beer drinkers but in looking around, everyone was not having beer. It is definitely family-friendly. The restaurant seemed to be a place where locals dine. Good location near downtown area. Easy to find.

I had a hamburger that was delicious but my husband ordered the sausage calzone. We had a pretty long wait for the food and when it came we discovered that although the calzone was huge it actually had almost no sausage inside. When we brought this to the attention of the server we got a mumbled apology and the bill!! The calzone was expensive and not at all worth the money

We will give it a second try but I doubt we will make the mistake of ordering a calzone
