“Great Family Park!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Spend the day with family, lots to do! Take a walk over the bridge and watch the salmon spawning in the fall. Watch t he rafters go down the river. There is a baseball diamond, a huge pond, playground equipment, plenty of parking and this is where the hot air balloons take off or land when they are in town!

Beautiful, well-maintained park. Ball fields, play areas, walking paths and a fishing area. Fun for the whole family.

“This park is the real gem in Grants Pass”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Most people talk about Riverside Park here, but except for Boatnik, Back to the Fifties and a few other special events, we've learned to stay away from Riverside Park. It IS a good place to practice your CCW skills though. :-)
Reinhart Volunteer Park is the real gem in Grants Pass.

Originally called Riverside West All Sports Park it was renamed to honor John Reinhart, the driving force behind the establishment of this park. It is hard to believe this park was built by volunteers with mostly donated money and equipment.

The park is 60 acres and has
Large Playground
Soccer field
4 Softball fields
2 Baseball fields
3 sand Volleyball courts
Flycasting pond
Fishing ponds
Jogging trail
12 Horseshoe pits
4 Basketball courts
3 Tennis Courts
Many Restrooms
There are also 7 reservable shelters and a newly finished "River Vista" area for
Weddings and Receptions
Family Reunions
Anniversary Celebrations
Large Group Picnics and
Small Performances
Located on the river in the 60-acre Reinhart Volunteer Park, River Vista also includes two clean restroom facilities and two paved parking lots.

Optional Amenities

A professionally furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath house River House for event preparation, up to 175 white chairs and a white pergola for wedding ceremonies

The American Legion Nuggetts baseball team has their field here with real baseball games open to the public in the summer. The two connected trout ponds are stocked each year.

Like Riverside park, Reinhart park is on the Rogue river and offers many more opprtunities to get to the river. There is also a wonderful, large pedestrian bridge that crosses the Rogue River and leads to Tussing Park on the south side of the river. Relax on the bridge and wave to the jet boats as they roar down the rapids.

If you want to visit a nice park in Grants Pass, this is the one.
