This is the second time we have been there.
I and my wife went in on a Friday night. Neither of the wait staff ever smiled nor were friendly, never greeted us like you would expect, "Hi, welcome to the Bohemian", nor were they personable.
They were kind of matter of fact.
We wanted to order something off the menu and get a couple drinks. It was happy hour, but even though we indicated we wanted the cheaper "well drinks" when we got our bill they charged us almost twice the price at regular drink prices (for rum and coke $5.50). When we inquired about the over charge they said the coconut rum was "top shelf" and cost more. It would have been nice to have the waitress say, "I'm sorry, the coconut rum will cost more, would you still like to order that?" That would have not only been courteous, but having this info before we ordered makes it much more tasteful when the bill comes, and especially when they clearly knew our desire was to save via their special pricing. They obviously did not learn that the happy customer ultimately buys more and that’s why you have the sale in the first place.
We live locally. We know many people in town and come into contact with many visitors. So we have the ability to strongly promote local businesses, and we do. Unfortunately for this place, we will not recommend it any longer.
In seeing the other reviews it looks like we are not the only ones with these same complaints. This place needs to have wait staff training done or consider rehiring others who will retain customers and grow their business, as well as represent the town in a friendlier light.
Honestly, we will never go there again, and we will definitely tell others NOT to go there. We will and do share our opinions online.

Noisy and crowded is what we'd heard and expected, especially on the evening we decided to go to The Bo: Downtown Christmas Parade. We got there early, 530pm, and had no problem being seated. Wasn't full so noise was not an issue. Service and cocktail delivery was prompt. Menu...different: From fancy hotdog to seared ahi to braised briskett. Salad selections were wide. My wedge-bacon-blue cheese was not Morton's quality, but decent. The braised beef was very good, but could have been a little warmer/hotter. Cilantro slaw was inventive and tasty. The Wisconsin-Nebraska game was on 2 TVs which this college football fan appreciated (and whose spouse did not). Food quality and menu diversity were enough to rate a repeat visit.

A small intimate restaurant with a unique atmosphere. The owners have decorated the restaurant and made it very cozy. The food and drinks were excellent. A very nice place to meet friends and just hang out for the evening. My steak dinner was outstanding, followed by a fantastic glass of red wine.

We had just greatest time the other night at the Bohemian. We enjoyed the chicken pasta, the ahi tuna salad and the steak. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Not huge portions and a bit pricey for Grants Pass but we will be back.
