Stayed at spirit mountain resort during business trip. check in was slow and staff were not helpful. The rooms are quiet and the beds very comfortable. Location is not convenient unless traveling to the coast.
- Free Wifi
- Free Parking
We have stayed at other Indian casino's in Oregon--this is the best by far! Staff was excellent and accomodating. We only ate at the breakfast buffet (only stayed overnight) and it had a wonderful selection--comparable to larger hotels in Reno & Las Vegas. Others I sat next to on the gaming floor also told me how great the buffet was. Nice selection of fast foods on the gaming floor--some even cooked right there.
The rooms are very nice and roomy--beds the best of any hotel we stayed in in Oregon. By joining the free casino club you get a $20 discount on the room which for us ended up being $60! PLUS when you join you get $10 off of a meal--and there are lots of choices in the hotel beside the buffet.
It is only 20 miles or so inland from Lincoln City on the coast which is where we were headed. We would definitely stay here again.
Besides lots of slot machines, they have dice and other tables on the floor plus a poker room. Additionally they have a well placed non-smoking slot room which was a really nice feature for me
Here's a tip - most of the time people book their hotel rooms way in advance to ensure you get a room. I was looking at rooms at this hotel about 2/3 months out and it was always listed at about $100 a night. I got sidetracked and didn't book at that time and at the last minute (week before our date of arrival) I looked again and found that the rooms were about $63. That was FANTASTIC and much lower then originally found. If there are no special events, shows, or programs going on the rooms go about $60 for coyote club members. So check the dates you are going and plan ahead. =) Buffet is always a must do. It's really not that expensive per person and the options are always great. The variety of food is always well rounded and there's something for everyone. This place actually beats out the casino's on the coast so i'd recommend staying here. There are not many things for young children to do. There is a arcade behind the hotel but it closes at 10. There are no pools, work out rooms just the hotel and the casino. The room was HUGE. We had a king size bed in our and LOTS of space to move and do things. The bathrooms are also huge and wonderful. Our room didn't have towels when we arrived. I called the front desk and a few of them were delievered within 5 mins. I do have to say though that the hallways were extremely cold but inside the rooms were perfect.
This resort is located between the I5 and Tillamook on a secondary highway but well worth the slightly off the main route byway. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished we had stayed longer. It's close to the picturesque coastline and near many Oregon wineries but what sells it to me in the place itself.
We had a king room which was spacious and well laid out with an easy chair and foot stool for hubbie to feel like he was at home as he watched the large flat screen TV. LOL. The casino had a closed in smoke free room (always appreciated by us non-smokers). The casino itself was actually nice and bright and easy to get around. Staff were friendly and helpful in all areas. You could help yourself to coffee, tea and soft drinks at any time of the day (something we found that all the first nations casino resorts seemed to have in common).
While we weren't travelling with children I couldn't help but notice this was also a child friendly resort with lots of activities including what looked like a well set up games room (with video games etc) for the children. Tempted to go in and play some games myself - I probably would have come out ahead :-)
We ate both breakfast and supper there - the buffet turned into a menu restaurant for breakfast with a choice of menu or 'express' buffet (i.e. continental breakfast bar). Meals were good and so was the service.
Great stay and highly recommend booking here. For the price we payed ($89.95 for a weekday), it was more than worth it!
Great rooms at an increditably reasonable rate of $79 with a players card. King size bed, 42" HDTV and a very nice bathroom. Excellent staff.
Also, you get free continental breakfast with your stay....bagels, pastries, ceral (hot and cold), juice, fruit, toast, coffee, muffins...............
The only thing missing is there is no pool or fitness center which would make it perfect.
Excellent facility on the way to the Oregon Coast. Staff are courteous and friendly. Breakfast room is well stocked and good value.
Casino is clean and well maintained. Long walks necessary, but well worth the effort.
Rooms are excellent. Great value, especially Coyote Card holders. Minimum number of points needed for redemption at buffet which is silly especially for travelors.
